Omschrijving onderdeel 3: (bij Van Pallandtweg 11; op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nr.3)
VOORBURCHT MET KEERMUUR EN TOEGANGSBRUG behorende tot de buitenplaats Neerijnen. Rondom de voorburcht is een gemetselde kademuur uit de jaren '20 van de 20ste eeuw ter vervanging van de oorspronkelijke aarden talud; de massieve bakstenen toegangsbrug met een boog en opgemetselde balustraden dateert eveneens uit die periode. De toegang tot de brug wordt geflankeerd door twee gemetselde pijlers met (kunst)stenen bekroning en een lantaarn.
Waardering:
VOORBURCHT MET KEERMUUR EN TOEGANGSBRUG van algemeen belang: - vanwege de ouderdom; - vanwege de doelmatige vormgeving; - als uiting van een restauratieopvatting van een kasteel van voor de Tweede Wereldoorlog; - als functioneel en karakteristiek onderdeel van de buitenplaats.

FORECOURT WITH RETAINING WALL AND ACCESS BRIDGE belonging to the country estate Neerijnen. Around the forecourt is a mortared quay wall from the 1920s replacing the original earthen slope; the massive brick access bridge with an arch and mortared balustrades likewise dates from that period. The access to the bridge is flanked by two mortared piers with (artificial) stone coping and a lamp.
Valuation:
FORECOURT WITH RETAINING WALL AND ACCESS BRIDGE of general importance: - because of its age; - because of its purposeful design; - as an expression of a restoration approach to a castle from before the Second World War; - as a functional and characteristic component of the country estate.
