Inleiding.
MUZIEKTENT, gebouwd in 1924 in traditionalistische vormen, gerestaureerd in 1974. Vrijstaand op een gazon op het driehoekig plein in de kern van Aarle-Rixtel.
Omschrijving.
Achthoekige muziektent op een betonnen voet met bakstenen hoeken. Aan één zijde is een bakstenen trapje aanwezig.
Gietijzeren kolommen ondersteunen het houten plafond met puntdak dat is gedekt met bitumen. De dakrand is voorzien van een gootlijst. Tussen de kolommen is een houten hekwerk geplaatst.
Waardering.
De muziektent is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van een culturele ontwikkeling. Het heeft architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een traditionalistische muziekkoepel. Het object is gaaf bewaard gebleven en zeldzaam.

Octagonal bandstand on a concrete base with brick corners. On one side is a brick step.
Cast-iron columns support the wooden ceiling with pitched roof which is covered with bitumen. The roof edge is provided with a gutter moulding. Between the columns a wooden railing has been placed.

The bandstand is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical significance as an example of a cultural development. It has architectural-historical value as an example of a traditional bandstand. The object has been well preserved and is rare.
