Complex Koestraat 35-41 Oirschot (4): Tussen het klooster en de school staat de vrijstaande, blokvormige RECTORSWONING, uitgevoerd naar een ontwerp uit ca. 1925 van Jan Stuyt. Het gebouw is in de Um 1800-stijl van de contemporaine kloostergebouwen (A), (B) en (D) uitgevoerd.
Beschrijving: Het tweelaags gebouw heeft een globaal L-vormige plattegrond en is gedekt met een samengesteld schilddak met verbeterde Hollandse pannen. Het dak heeft een overstek op klossen en op de dakschilden aan de zuidelijke en westelijke zijde staan twee driehoekige, beschoten dakkapellen met een halfrond driedelig licht. De bakstenen voorgevel heeft een asymmetrische opzet met een tweelaags risalerend deel aan de oostelijke zijde, waarin een getrapt omlijste paneeldeur met bovenlicht en, op de etage, een eenvoudig schuifvenster. In het terugliggende westelijke deel van de voorgevel is zowel op begane grond als etage een samengesteld houten kruisvenster met schuiframen. In de oostelijke zijgevel bevinden zich, boven een klein licht met diefijzers, drie glas-in-lood-lichten van de trappenhal. Aan de achterzijde van het huis is een kleine eenlaags aanbouw, die in de oostelijke gevel een opgeklampte deur met aangekoppeld vierruits openslaand venster heeft. De twee openslaande T-vensters op de begane grond in de westelijke zijgevel zien we terug op de etage van de achtergevel. Hier bevindt zich ook een rondbogig overkluisde loggia. In de tuin zijn van belang een kastanje en een valse acacia, beide met een stamomtrek van ca. 2 meter.
Waardering: De rectorswoning is van algemeen belang. Het huis heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een geestelijke ontwikkeling, namelijk de bloei van orden en congregaties in de vroege twintigste eeuw en is tevens van belang als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van het congregatieklooster annex internaat kort na 1900. Het is architectuurhistorisch van belang vanwege de stijl, waarmee de architecten Cuypers en Stuyt door materiaalgebruik en ornamentiek een breuk bewerkstelligden met de traditionele katholieke gestichtsstijl. Het heeft ensemblewaarden als onderdeel van een klooster, kapel, scholen en rectoraat en de rol in het silhouet van de plaats. Het is als groot en samenhangend kloostercomplex relatief zeldzaam geworden.

Complex Koestraat 35-41 Oirschot (4): Between the convent and the school stands the detached, block-shaped RECTOR'S HOUSE, executed after a design from ca. 1925 by Jan Stuyt. The building was executed in the Um 1800 style of the contemporary convent buildings (A), (B) and (D).
Description: The two-storey building has a broadly L-shaped floor plan and is covered with a composite hipped roof with improved Dutch tiles. The roof has an overhang on corbels and on the roof slopes on the southern and western side stand two triangular, boarded roof dormers with a semi-circular three-part light. The brick front facade has an asymmetrical layout with a two-storey projecting section on the eastern side, in which a stepped framed panel door with fanlight and, on the first floor, a simple sash window. In the recessed western part of the front facade there are, both on the ground floor and first floor, a composite wooden cross window with sash frames. In the eastern side facade are located, above a small light with fireplace bars, three stained glass lights of the stairwell. At the rear of the house is a small single-storey extension, which in the eastern facade has a bolted door with an attached four-pane casement window. The two casement T-windows on the ground floor in the western side facade we see again on the first floor of the rear facade. Here there is also a semi-circular vaulted loggia. In the garden are of significance a chestnut tree and a false acacia, both with a trunk circumference of approximately 2 metres.
Valuation: The rector's house is of general importance. The house has cultural-historical value as an example of a spiritual development, namely the flourishing of orders and congregations in the early twentieth century and is also of importance as an example of the typological development of the congregational convent with adjoining boarding school shortly after 1900. It is of architectural-historical importance because of the style with which the architects Cuypers and Stuyt brought about a break with the traditional Catholic institutional style through their use of materials and ornamentation. It has ensemble value as part of a convent, chapel, schools and rectory and its role in the silhouette of the place. As a large and coherent convent complex it has become relatively rare.
