Inleiding
Grenspaal, opgericht in 1879 in traditionele vormen. De grenspaal is een relict van de vele grenscorrecties en bestuurswisselingen die het kerkdorp Gemonde in de loop der tijd heeft ondergaan en geeft de scheiding aan tussen het grondgebied van Sint-Michielsgestel en Boxtel. Sinds 1997 valt heel Gemonde onder de gemeente Sint-Michielsgestel. De paal is gesitueerd aan de noordzijde van de tuin van de pastorie op nummer 122.
Omschrijving
Vierkante hardstenen paal, breedte 32 cm., hoogte 90 cm. De paal is op circa 40 cm. hoogte aan drie zijden voorzien van in reliëf aangebrachte opschriften binnen een sierkader en heeft daarboven een insnoering met tweezijdig opschriften en een piramidebekroning met flauwe helling. Opschriften:

Boundary stone, erected in 1879 in traditional forms. The boundary stone is a relic of the many boundary corrections and administrative changes that the village of Gemonde has undergone over time and marks the division between the territory of Sint-Michielsgestel and Boxtel. Description
Square hardstone post, width 32 cm., height 90 cm. The post is provided at approximately 40 cm. height on three sides with inscriptions in relief within an ornamental frame and above this has an indentation with two-sided inscriptions and a pyramid-shaped crown with gentle slope. Inscriptions:
