Aan de westelijke zijde van de poort van de R.K. begraafplaats van Oirschot staat het GRAFTEKEN van F.H. Goossens, uit omstreeks 1896. Het grafmonument heeft een neo-gotische detaillering.
Omschrijving
Het grafmonument bestaat uit een hardstenen zerk met opgelegde marmeren hoogreliëfs, zijnde een kruis, een anker in de golven en een vlammend hart. De zerk wordt omgeven door een zestal hardstenen neogotische hekpalen met spitsboogvelden en bolbekroning. Tussen de hekpalen hangt een gietijzeren ketting, waarvan de ovale schakels de vorm van doornentakken hebben. Op de dekplaat, die aan de zijkant versierd is met rankwerk, staat de inscriptie: "Ter gedachtenis van / den weledelen heer / Franciscus Hubertus Goosens / Echtgenoot van Arnoldina / de Laat / Griffier bij het Kantongerecht / te Oirschot / geboren te Middelbeers / 22 april 1823 / overleden te Oirschot 14 februari 1896 / R.I.P.".

The grave monument consists of a stone tomb slab with applied marble high reliefs, namely a cross, an anchor in the waves and a flaming heart. The tomb slab is surrounded by six stone neo-Gothic fence posts with pointed arch fields and ball finials. Between the fence posts hangs a cast-iron chain, whose oval links have the form of thorn branches. On the cover plate, which is decorated on the side with scrollwork, stands the inscription: "In memory of / the honourable gentleman / Franciscus Hubertus Goosens / Husband of Arnoldina / de Laat / Clerk at the Cantonal Court / in Oirschot / born in Middelbeers / 22 April 1823 / died in Oirschot 14 February 1896 / R.I.P.".
