Naast de poort van de R.K. begraafplaats van Oirschot is gesitueerd het GRAFTEKEN van W.G.J. Messing, uit omstreeks 1891.
Omschrijving
Het hardstenen grafkruis, dat gesteld is op een getrapte sokkel, is aan de achterzijde versterkt met smeedijzeren ankers. De kruisarmen eindigen in driepassen. Het centrum van het kruis bestaat uit een vierkant middendeel. Op het kruis de inscriptie: "Hier rust / onze lieve / moeder / Mevrouw W.G.J. Messing, wed. W.gestr. / Heer W.A. Hoppenbrouwers / geb. Oirschot 26 dec. 1822 / Overl. Oisterwijk / 18 dec. 1891 / R.I.P.".

Description
The sandstone grave cross, which is set on a stepped plinth, is reinforced on the reverse with wrought-iron anchors. The cross arms end in trefoils. The centre of the cross consists of a square central section. On the cross the inscription: "Here rests / our beloved / mother / Mrs W.G.J. Messing, widow of / Lord W.A. Hoppenbrouwers / born Oirschot 26 Dec. 1822 / Died Oisterwijk / 18 Dec. 1891 / R.I.P.".
Worthiness of Preservation
The grave monument is of general importance.
