Omschrijving onderdeel 2:
bij Tolhuisweg 11 HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG, bestaande uit a. oprijlaan met weilanden b. andere lanen en wegen c. voorplein d. bosjes ad a.: de oprijlaan, uit derde kwart negentiende eeuw, met aan weerszijden een groot min of meer vierkant weiland loopt vanaf de weg in noordelijke richting recht op het midden van het huis af; links en rechts een enkele rij eiken in grasberm; de weilanden zijn in landschappelijke-visuele zin essentieel voor de beleving van de laan. ad b.: de bomen langs de openbare wegen, Tolhuisweg en Markeweg (als tracées achttiende eeuw of ouder), zijn belangrijk als landschappelijke omlijsting van de beide weilanden; de eigen halfverharde weg langs de noordzijde van de gracht, tevens de grens van het complexgebied, heeft gedeeltelijk een jonge (laan)beplanting van eik. De westgrens van het complex wordt gevormd door een halfverharde eikenlaan, vroeg negentiende eeuw of ouder. Tenslotte loopt er langs het zuidelijk grachtdeel, waarvan de westelijke helft gedempt is, een oude onverharde laan loodrecht op de oprijlaan; enkele oude eiken resteren. ad c.: het voorplein wordt gevormd door een onregelmatig rond grasveld met daaromheen een grindpad, dat aansluit op de oprijlaan; enkele oude bomen langs de rand. ad d.: tussen de oostarm van de gracht en de daaraan paralellopende Markeweg ligt een klein bosje met oud loofhout, voornamelijk eik; een eender bosje ligt op dezelfde wijze tussen de westelijke grachtarm en de westlaan.

at Tolhuisweg 11 HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT, consisting of a. drive with meadows b. other lanes and roads c. forecourt d. copses ad a.: the drive, from the third quarter of the nineteenth century, with on either side a large more or less square meadow runs from the road in a northerly direction straight towards the centre of the house; left and right a single row of oaks in grass verge; the meadows are essential from a landscape-visual perspective for the appreciation of the avenue. ad b.: the trees along the public roads, Tolhuisweg and Markeweg (as eighteenth-century or older routes), are important as landscape framing for both meadows; the own semi-paved road along the north side of the canal, also marking the boundary of the complex area, has in part a young (avenue) planting of oak. The western boundary of the complex is formed by a semi-paved oak avenue, early nineteenth century or older. Finally, along the southern canal section, the western half of which is filled in, runs an old unpaved avenue perpendicular to the drive; several old oaks remain. ad c.: the forecourt is formed by an irregular round grass field with around it a gravel path, which connects to the drive; some old trees along the edge. ad d.: between the eastern arm of the canal and the Markeweg running parallel to it lies a small copse with old broadleaf timber, mainly oak; a similar copse lies in the same way between the western canal arm and the western avenue.
