Omschrijving
SLANGENMUUR behorende tot de buitenplaats Slot Zuylen. Op de landtong ten noordwesten van het slot een bakstenen slangenmuur uit het begin van de 18de eeuw (1731-1742). Aan de zijde van het slot eindigt de tuinmuur in een 'bolwerk' met schietspleten, dat is te beschouwen als een folly. De experimentele tuinmuur staat op een representatieve plaats langs de toegangslaan naar het kasteel.

SERPENTINE WALL belonging to the country estate Slot Zuylen. On the promontory to the northwest of the castle a brick serpentine wall from the beginning of the 18th century (1731-1742). On the side of the castle the garden wall ends in a 'bastion' with gun slits, which is to be regarded as a folly. The experimental garden wall stands on a representative location along the approach lane to the castle.
