TOEGANGSHEK OP BRUG behorende tot de buitenplaats Marquette. Over de buitengracht ligt een bakstenen 18de-eeuwse boogbrug met licht gebogen keermuren afgedekt door natuurstenen afdekplaten waarop een eenvoudige ijzeren balustrade; uitgemetselde pilasters vormen de sokkels van de twee natuurstenen rechthoekige pijlers van het toegangshek uit 1741 in eenvoudige Lodewijk XIV-stijl. Het hek bestaat uit twee massieve pijlers met eenvoudige profilering voorzien van schelpmotief en bekroond door een ronde vaas met oren en een deksel; tussen de pijlers een ijzeren spijlenhek met speerpunten bestaande uit dubbele hekvleugels geflankeerd door een hekstijl met ijzeren bloemtraceringen.

Description
ACCESS GATE ON BRIDGE belonging to the country estate Marquette. Over the outer moat lies an 18th-century brick arch bridge with slightly curved retaining walls covered by natural stone coping plates upon which a simple iron balustrade; plastered pilasters form the plinths of two natural stone rectangular piers of the access gate from 1741 in simple Louis XIV style. The gate consists of two massive piers with simple moulding furnished with shell motif and crowned by a round vase with handles and a lid; between the piers an iron spear-pointed railing gate consisting of double gate wings flanked by a gate post with iron flower tracery.
