Inleiding.
Het LANDHUIS uit 1894 is gebouwd in Chaletstijl naar ontwerp van de architect C.P. van Genk. Het is centraal op het landgoed gelegen en ligt in het verlengde van de Herendreef.
Omschrijving.
Het tweelaags landhuis is gebouwd op onregelmatige plattegrond en opgetrokken uit machinale baksteen. De voorgevel heeft twee ongelijkvormige zijrisalieten met topgevels, voorzien van uitkragend houtbeschot, rustend op houten steunen. De achtergevel heeft één vergelijkbare risaliet aan de rechterzijde. In de linker voorrisaliet is op de eerste verdieping een houten balkon geplaatst met bewerkte balustrade, rustend op houten steunen. Het heeft een hardstenen plint rondom en dito waterlijsten in de voorgevel en de achterrisaliet.
Tevens zijn de gevels voorzien van natuurstenen speklagen, wier aantal in de voorgevel en achterrisaliet verdubbelen ten opzichte van de zijgevels. Op de begane grond zijn getoogde vensters aangebracht met hardstenen aanzet- en sluitstenen en siermetselwerk in de trommels. In de vensters zijn rechtgesloten kruisramen aangebracht. In het middelste travee en de linkerzijrisaliet van de voorgevel, alsmede in de achterrisaliet zijn dubbele houten deuren aangebracht. Op de verdieping zijn rondboogvensters geplaatst met siermetselwerk in de trommels. In de vensters zijn rechtgesloten kruisramen geplaatst. Ook de gevelvelden onder de vensters zijn voorzien van siermetselwerk. De linkerzijgevel heeft twee risalerende schoorstenen. De voordeur, bestaande uit een paneeldeur met glas, bevindt zich in de achtergevel en wordt voorafgegaan door een open houten overkapping onder plat dak.
Tegen de linker zijgevel is ter hoogte van de verdieping een bel geplaatst in een houten raamwerk. Het landhuis heeft een samengesteld schilddak met ruim overstek, belegd met losanges. De indeling van het interieur is ongewijzigd. In enkele vertrekken op de begane grond liggen geornamenteerde cementtegels op de vloeren. In de achterkamer ligt een houten vloer en is een marmeren schouw geplaatst. Tussen voor- en achterkamer in een houten schuifdeur met panelen. De houten deuren zijn voorzien van panelen. De plafonds hebben een eenvoudige stucprofiel. Het trappenhuis loopt door tot de zolder en heeft een rondlopende houten trap met dito leuning en trappaal. Op de verdieping liggen houten vloeren. De kapconstructie is nog oorspronkelijk.

Het landhuis is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als goed voorbeeld van een negentiende-eeuws landhuis. The manor house is of general importance. It has cultural-historical value as a good example of a nineteenth-century manor house. It has architectural-historical value as an example of Chalet style and as a representative example of the oeuvre of architect C.P. van Genk.
