Omschrijving
Nabij de noordwesthoek van de omgrachting bevindt zich dit in een dijklichaam gelegen KEER- ANNEX INLAATSLUISJE (J). Het sluisje bevindt zich nabij het punt waar de smalle Laag-Soerensebeek in een kolk stroomt. De sluis geeft toegang tot een achterliggende, parallel aan de oostelijke bedijking gelegen, sloot die uitwater op de IJssel. Het zichtbare deel van het sluisje heeft een damwand met vleugelmuren, gemetseld in kruisverband. In het midden bevindt zich een opening waarvoor een schuif met heugelstang en tandwielkast geplaatst is.

Stedebouwkundige waarden:
- Het object vormt een onderdeel van de buitenplaats de Geldersche Toren en heeft een duidelijke situeringswaarde die voortkomt uit de ligging van de toren en de bijgebouwen ten opzichte van elkaar en van de omgeving. De markant aanwezige toren vormt met parkaanleg, bijgebouwen en waterbouwkundige werken een duidelijke eenheid. Description
Near the northwest corner of the moat is located this WEIR AND INLET SLUICE (J) situated within a dike body. The sluice is located near the point where the narrow Laag-Soerensebeek flows into a basin. The sluice provides access to a behind-lying channel, running parallel to the eastern embankment, which drains into the IJssel. The visible part of the sluice has a sheet-pile wall with wing walls, laid in cross-bond. In the middle there is an opening for which a sluice gate with a lifting rod and gearbox has been placed.

Urban design values:
- The object forms a component of the country estate De Geldersche Toren and has a clear siting value which stems from the location of the tower and the outbuildings in relation to each other and to the surroundings. The markedly present tower forms with park layout, outbuildings and water engineering works a clear unity. The sluice is functionally inseparably connected with the country estate De Geldersche Toren and is important for water management on the site.
Cultural-historical values:
