De "Gelderse Toren". In oorsprong zware, ronde verdedigingstoren, door Karel van Gelre in 1535 aan de Yssel gebouwd. In 1868 tot op de eerste verdieping afgebroken en in romantische vormen herbouwd.
Fraaie parkaanleg; oprijlaan met oude eiken. Rond de toren een gracht.
Fraai gebouw van eenvoudige doch harmonische architectuur en van oudheidkundige waarde.

Description
The "Gelderse Tower". Originally a heavy, round defensive tower, built in 1535 on the Yssel by Charles of Gelre. In 1868 demolished down to the first storey and rebuilt in romantic forms.
