Omschrijving onderdeel 2:
PARKAANLEG in landschapsstijl, in oorsprong 19e eeuws; na inundatie van 1944 geheel opnieuw ingeplant; zeer bescheiden aanleg, zowel qua grootte als vormgeving; vanaf de Vlissingseweg voert een breed grindpad zonder laanbeplanting naar het druppelvormige grindplein voor het huis; ten zuiden aan dit plein het koetshuis (zie onder 3), dat thans door bosschages aan het oog (vanaf het plein gezien) onttrokken wordt; rechts van het pad grasvelden met jonge solitairen; deze staan ook ten noorden van het huis in de vork van de Galgeweg en de Vlissingseweg; midden achter het huis een rond rozenperk, dat herinnert aan de ronde vijver, die er vroeger was; vanuit de achterzijde een gezicht over dit perk, de heg langs de Galgeweg en landerijen op de duinen; verder bestaat de aanleg uit jong bos met slingerpaden; in de zuidwesthoek van het complex ligt nog een oude ronde vijver, in de uiterste oosthoek de familiebegraafplaats (zie onder 4).

PARK LAYOUT in landscape style, originally 19th-century; entirely replanted after the 1944 inundation; a very modest layout, both in size and design; from the Vlissingseweg a broad gravel path without avenue planting leads to the tear-drop-shaped gravel forecourt in front of the house; to the south of this forecourt the coach house (see below 3), which is now hidden from view (from the forecourt perspective) by copses; to the right of the path lawns with young solitary trees; these also stand to the north of the house in the fork of the Galgeweg and the Vlissingseweg; in the middle behind the house a round rose bed, which is reminiscent of the round pond that was there previously; from the rear a view over this bed, the hedge along the Galgeweg and fields on the dunes; the layout further consists of young woodland with winding paths; in the south-west corner of the complex there is still an old round pond, in the far east corner the family burial ground (see below 4).
