Inleiding
Voormalige HOOISCHUUR, deel uitmakend van het complex van de voormalige ontginningsboerderij Lactaria.
Omschrijving
Langgerekte schuur met gepotdekselde wanden op een bakstenen voet en voorzien van een zadeldak met eternitleien. Dit vormde de oorspronkelijke dakbedekking van alle gebouwen.
In de korte voorgevel brede dubbele schuifdeuren voor de doorrit en in de geveltop verticaal houten beschot.
In de lange zijgevels een reeks rechthoekige openingen en enkele paneeldeuren, die toegang geven tot de machinestalling op de begane grond. De schuur bezit een houten gebint met een driebeukige indeling. Op de verdieping de hooitas. De schuur is gedeeltelijk onderkelderd. Mogelijk betreft het hier de oorspronkelijke gierkelder.
Waardering
De voormalige hooischuur is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als bijzondere uitdrukking van de sociaal-economische en geografische ontwikkeling in de Peel, het getuigt van een typologische ontwikkeling en heeft innovatieve betekenis. Description
Elongated barn with walls covered in daub on a brick base and provided with a gabled roof with asbestos cement slates. This formed the original roof covering of all buildings.
In the short front facade broad double sliding doors for the passage and in the gable top vertical timber cladding.
In the long side facades a series of rectangular openings and some panel doors, which give access to the machinery store on the ground floor. The barn has a timber frame with a three-aisled layout. On the upper storey the hay loft. The barn is partially cellared. This may possibly be the original manure cellar.
Valuation
The former hay barn is of general interest. It has cultural-historical importance as a particular expression of social-economic and geographical development in the Peel, it testifies to a typological development and has innovative significance.
