BOERDERIJ van het langgeveltype "Klein IJpelaar" uit 1886.
Omschrijving
De boerderij behoort tot het zogenaamde langgeveltype met dwarsdeel, met rechts het woongedeelte en links het bedrijfsgedeelte, beide onder een zadeldak gedekt met grijze kruispannen. Het opgaande werk bestaat uit rood/paarse machinale baksteen gemetseld in kruisverband. Muuropeningen met hanenkammen. Het woongedeelte heeft een symmetrische vijf traveeën brede voorgevel met een risalerende monumentale ingangspartij geflankeerd door twee T-schuifvensters met luiken met een hardstenen plint en kroonlijst met fries. De ingangspartij zelf heeft een eigen kroonlijst op consoles. Paneelvoordeur met gietijzeren rooster. Voor het woongedeelte een frontale stoep met plavuizen.
Het bedrijfsgedeelte heeft gietijzeren stalramen en in de voorgevel dubbele stal- en deeldeuren onder een ellipsboog en in de achtergevel een dubbele staldeur naast een voerdeur. In zijgevel hooiluik op de verdieping.
De indeling van de boerderij is nauwelijks gewijzigd. Aanwezig zijn waardevolle interieuronderdelen onder andere een geprofileerde stucplafond met engeltjes in de rechter voorkamer, tegelwerk gang, lambrisering en marmeren schoorsteenmantels.
Waardering
De boerderij is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als getuigenis van de ontwikkeling van de landbouw in Midden-Brabant en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de boerderij. Het heeft ensemblewaarden als onderdeel van een waardevol geheel. Het is een in- en uitwendig gaaf en compleet voorbeeld van dit type boerderij in de landelijke omgeving van de IJpelaar.

Description
The farm belongs to the so-called long-gable type with cross section, with the residential section on the right and the business section on the left, both under a gabled roof covered with grey plain tiles. The masonry consists of red/purple machine-made brick laid in Flemish bond. Wall openings with decorative brick courses. The residential section has a symmetrical five-bay wide front facade with a projecting monumental entrance section flanked by two T-sash windows with shutters with a sandstone plinth and cornice with frieze. The entrance section itself has its own cornice on consoles. Panelled front door with cast-iron grille. In front of the residential section a frontal step with paving stones.
The business section has cast-iron stable windows and in the front facade double stable and partition doors under an elliptical arch and in the rear facade a double stable door next to a feed door. Hay door on the upper storey in the side facade.
The layout of the farm has scarcely been altered. Present are valuable interior components including a moulded stucco ceiling with cherubs in the right front room, tiling in the hallway, wainscoting and marble fireplace mantels.
Valuation
The farm is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical value as evidence of the development of agriculture in Central Brabant and as an example of the typological development of the farm.
