Omschrijving
Inleiding.
Hierboven is in sierankers: "A. D. 1941" aangegeven.

Description
Introduction.
The FARMHOUSE is built in 1941 as a variant on the traditional long-facade farmhouse. The building in Traditionalist style may have come about as a Reconstruction farmhouse as a result of war damage.
Description.
The facades of the farmhouse on a rectangular plan are built up from machine-made brick with decorative roll course at the plinth.
The composite half-hipped roof is covered with thatch, the eaves are laid with red improved Dutch roof tiles. The roof is lower at the rear and right.
The facade is extended on the left with a low brick wall under a saddle roof ridge. From left to right there is first the stable section with regularly placed wall openings. It has two arched six-pane stable windows, corbel-arched stable doors and two more arched six-pane stable windows. This is followed by the residential section, with its asymmetrical roof angled somewhat to the right. The roof stands at right angles to that of the stable and has a higher ridge. At the intersection a wide tapered chimney is built. On the ground floor there is on the left a composite window and on the right a casement window, both under a spandrel arch. Between them is the front door. This is accentuated by two brick bollards connected to the facade with curved iron rods.
The semi-clamped door is provided with a round window with ornamental ironwork and a segmental top. The fanlight has two glazing bars under the closing frame. Above this "A. D. 1941" is indicated in ornamental wall anchors.
On the upper storey there are two two-pane windows. In the right facade two casement windows are placed. In the thatched roof there are two semicircular roof dormers with small glazing bars.
In the left facade there are four arched six-pane stable windows and above these an arched hayloft opening. The thatched roof above follows the arched form.
Valuation.
The Reconstruction farmhouse is of general interest. The building has cultural-historical significance as an example of the socio-economic development of agriculture, and is also of significance as an early example of the restoration of war damage in the early years of the Second World War and as an example of the typological development of the farmhouse. From an architectural-historical perspective, the property is of significance because of the ornamentation and the way in which reference is made back to the traditional regional farmhouse type in order to achieve integration into the village scene. The farmhouse is important because of its integrity and as an early example of a Reconstruction farmhouse is rare.
