Inleiding.
De T-BOERDERIJ is rond 1920 gebouwd in opdracht van de verzekeringsmaatschappij 'De Utrecht' en is gelegen in het heideontginningsgebied "De Utrecht". Zij maakt onderdeel uit van een groter geheel, het gelijknamige landgoed, dat is aangelegd door de verzekeringmaatschappij in de jaren na 1898 en onder meer is gelegen in de gemeenten Reusel-De Mierden en Hilvarenbeek.
Omschrijving.
De gevels van het T-vormige eenlaagse gebouw zijn opgetrokken uit machinale baksteen, met een tandlijst onder de goot, in de muren bevinden zich rechte steekankers. De plint is gepleisterd. Op beide zadeldaken liggen muldenpannen. Op één vereenvoudigd raam na, hebben alle T-vensters onder segmentboog de oorspronkelijke indeling met roedenverdeling in het bovenlicht en halve luiken met beschildering in rood, wit en groen met diabolo-motief. Dat zijn er verder twee in de voorgevel en twee in de zijgevels. De vernieuwde paneeldeur heeft een dicht bovenlicht met bovengenoemd motief. In de kopse gevels bevinden zich ramen op de zolderverdieping, het middelste geflankeerd door twee kleinere.
Het bedrijfsgedeelte is veel lager dan het woongedeelte en heeft vierruits stalramen.
Waardering.
De T-boerderij is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuur-historisch belang als voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw in Nederland, in het bijzonder de grootschalige ontginning van woeste gronden in de twintigste eeuw en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de boerderij.
Architectuurhistorisch is het pand van belang vanwege de aan de landschappelijke omgeving aangepaste sobere ornamentiek. Het heeft ensemblewaarden als onderdeel van het te beschermen grootschalige landgoed 'De Utrecht'. De boerderij is belangrijk vanwege de gaafheid van het exterieur.

The T-shaped FARMSTEAD was built around 1920 on behalf of the insurance company 'De Utrecht' and is located in the heathland reclamation area "De Utrecht". The facades of the T-shaped single-storey building are constructed of machine-made brick, with a toothed cornice under the gutter, straight wall anchors are present in the walls. The plinth is plastered. On both gabled roofs lie channel tiles. Apart from one simplified window, all T-windows under segmental arch have the original division with glazing bars in the fanlight and half shutters with paintwork in red, white and green with diabolo motif. There are furthermore two in the front facade and two in the side walls. The renewed panelled door has a solid fanlight with the aforementioned motif. In the gable end walls there are windows on the attic storey, the middle one flanked by two smaller ones.
The business section is much lower than the residential section and has four-pane stable windows.

The T-shaped farmstead is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical importance as an example of the social-economic development of agriculture in the Netherlands, in particular the large-scale reclamation of waste land in the twentieth century and as an example of the typological development of the farmstead.
Architecturally the building is of importance because of the sober ornamentation adapted to the surrounding landscape. It has ensemble value as part of the large-scale estate 'De Utrecht' to be protected. The farmstead is important because of the integrity of the exterior.
