Inleiding
In 1897 werd bij station Reusel-grens een WONING voor de stationschef gebouwd, gedeeltelijk ook bestemd voor gebruik door het overige trampersoneel. Uitgezonderd een dichtgemetseld venster is het pand nagenoeg ongewijzigd.
Omschrijving
De gevels van het tweelaags pand op T-vormige plattegrond zijn opgetrokken uit baksteen met een hardstenen, aan de noordzijde gecementeerde plint, een dorpellijst en een gecementeerde cordonlijst. Op de hoeken hardstenen hoekstenen met diamantkop. De getoogde vensters en deuren op de begane grond hebben een getoogde strek met hardstenen geboorte- en sluitstenen. De vensters op de etage zijn, tenzij anders vermeld, geplaatst onder identieke segmentbogen. Allen hebben hardstenen dorpels. Het pand wordt gedekt door een afgeplat zadeldak en heeft twee risaliserende topgevels onder zadeldak. De daken zijn gedekt met kruispannen. In de op het westen gelegen asymmetrische, drieassige voorgevel twee deels beglaasde paneeldeuren met ongedeeld bovenlicht, een tweeruits schuifvenster en een klein openslaand venster. Op de etage een tweeruits schuifvenster geflankeerd door twee T-vensters. In de zuidgevel twee, in de noord-gevel één uit drie gekoppelde schuifvensters bestaand getoogd venster. In beide topgevels een tweeruits openslaand venster met getoogd bovenlicht met aan weerszijden een gekoppeld openslaand venster. In de noordelijke topgevel op de begane grond een dichtgemetselde deuropening en een twee-ruits schuifvenster. De topgevel wordt afgescheiden door een dorpellijst. In de oostelijke gevel twee tweeruits schuifvensters en twee lichten. Aan het dak windborden en bakgoten op klossen.
Waardering
Het pand is gerelateerd aan de sociaal-economische en bestuurlijke ontwikkeling van het dorp. Het pand is bovendien van belang wegens de ornamentiek.

The facades of the two-storey building on a T-shaped plan are constructed of brick with a hard stone, cemented on the north side plinth, a dormer sill and a cemented cordon moulding. On the corners hard stone corner stones with diamond head. The arched windows and doors on the ground floor have an arched arch with hard stone birth and closing stones. The windows on the first floor are, unless otherwise stated, placed under identical segmental arches. All have hard stone sills. The building is covered by a flattened gabled roof and has two projecting gabled end walls under gabled roof. The roofs are covered with crossed tiles. In the west-facing asymmetrical, three-bay front facade two partly glazed panelled doors with undivided fanlight, a two-pane sash window and a small casement window. On the first floor a two-pane sash window flanked by two T-windows. In the south facade two, in the north facade one arched window consisting of three coupled sash windows. In both gable end walls a two-pane casement window with arched fanlight with on either side a coupled casement window. In the northern gable end wall on the ground floor a bricked-up door opening and a two-pane sash window. The gable end wall is separated by a dormer sill. In the east facade two two-pane sash windows and two lights. At the roof wind boards and gutters on brackets.
Valuation
The building is related to the social-economic and administrative development of the village. The building is furthermore of importance because of the ornamentation.
