Neo-gotisch GRAFMONUMENT De Negri, 1857, gesitueerd op het voormalige kerkhof bij de van rijkswege beschermde oude parochiekerk (XI-XVIII) van Merkelbeek. Dit ommuurde kerkhof is gesitueerd op de splitsing van Groeneweg en Merkelbeekerstraat.
Omschrijving
Hardstenen grafmonument op sokkel, omgeven door een smeedijzeren hekwerk. Bekroond door een kruis, omgeven door een bladerenkrans. Op het hardstenen monument, in een spitsboogvormige omlijsting, in reliëf het familiewapen De Negri met loofbladeren, waaronder de inscriptie: "a la memoire de Dame P C G Gilliodts epouse de Mr le Baron I A de Negri decedée a sa terre de Merkelbeek le 28 9bre 1857 a l'age de 58 ans et de son epoux Monsieur le Baron I A de Negri décédé à Merkelbeek le 9 Mars 1870 à l'age de 74 ans et 3 mois R.I.P.".
