Inleiding
Westelijk van de boerderij Burggraaf 2 staat een direct aan de openbare weg gesitueerde LANGSDEELSCHUUR, die gedeeltelijk uit omstreeks 1875 dateert, maar waarvan althans het metselwerk later, wellicht omstreeks 1910, grotendeels vervangen is. Het gebouw is in ambachtelijk-traditionele vormen opgetrokken.
Omschrijving
De eenlaags schuur heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en staat met de nokas parallel aan de straat. Het zadeldak is aan de beide zijden afgewolfd en is belegd met tuile du nord pannen.
De noordelijke gevel is opgetrokken in handvorm baksteen en geleed door pilasters. De schuur telt drie traveeën. Per travee is in de noordelijke gevel een klein vierruits getoogd stalvenster geplaatst. De schuur is gedeeltelijk opgetrokken in machinale baksteen, afgezet met een tandlijst en voorzien van smeedijzeren muurankers. In de oostelijke gevel een opgeklampte deur en een schuifdeur. Ook in de westelijke gevel bevindt zich een opgeklampte deur. Op het erf verder een bakstenen kippenhok en enkele hoogstammige fruitbomen.
Waardering
De langsdeelschuur is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als uitdrukking van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw in het Maasgebied; het is van belang als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de meerledige hoeve. Het heeft architectonisch belang als voorbeeld van de ambachtelijke bouwtrant in het laatst van de negentiende eeuw. Het heeft ensemblewaarde wegens de situering, verbonden met de ontwikkeling van het dorp. Het is van belang wegens de architectonische gaafheid van het exterieur.

West of the farmhouse Burggraaf 2 stands a LONGITUDINAL AISLED BARN situated directly on the public road, which dates partly from circa 1875, but at least the masonry of which was largely replaced later, perhaps circa 1910. The building is constructed in artisanal-traditional forms.
Description
The single-storey barn has a rectangular plan and stands with its ridge parallel to the street. The gabled roof is hipped at both sides and is laid with tuile du nord tiles.
The northern facade is built of hand-moulded brick and divided by pilasters. The barn has three bays. Per bay a small four-light arched stable window is placed in the northern facade. The barn is partly built of machine-made brick, finished with a dentil course and provided with wrought-iron wall anchors. In the eastern facade a clasped door and a sliding door. Also in the western facade a clasped door is situated. On the farmyard furthermore a brick chicken coop and several standard-sized fruit trees.
Valuation
The longitudinal aisled barn is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical value as an expression of the socio-economic development of agriculture in the Meuse region; it is of importance as an example of the typological development of the multi-part farmstead. It has architectural importance as an example of the artisanal building tradition in the late nineteenth century. It has ensemble value because of its location, connected with the development of the village. It is of importance because of the architectural integrity of its exterior.
