Inleiding
DIENSTWONING, deel uitmakend van het watertorencomplex. De woning, noordelijk gelegen van de watertoren, is rond 1911 tot stand gekomen en is gebouwd in een aan het Traditionalisme verwante bouwstijl.
Voor het huis staan twee leilindes.
Omschrijving
Eenlaags onderkelderd pand met boven een gepleisterde plint opgetrokken in grauwe baksteen (kruisverband) met sierbanden in gele verblendsteen. Het wolfsdak is gedekt met geglazuurde Tuile du Nord en heeft een goot op klossen. De muuropeningen zijn aan de bovenzijde afgesloten door segmentbogen en voorzien van geschilderde aanzet- en sluitstenen. De vensters van het pand zijn zesruits schuifvensters met luiken en hardstenen onderdorpels.
Voorgevel (zuid) met centraal geplaatste entree voorzien van twee deurruitjes onder een bovenlicht met aan weerszijden een zesruits venster. Centraal boven de gevel een dakkapel onder een zadeldak met een houten beschoten geveltop.
In de linker zijgevel (west) een deur onder een bovenlicht.
De rechter heeft twee vensters. In de achtergevel zijn behalve een kleine uitbouw onder plat dak, twee vensters geplaatst.
Waardering
Dienstwoning van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als een in sobere bouwstijl aan Traditionele bouwkunst verwante dienstwoning bij de watertoren.

SERVANTS' QUARTERS, forming part of the water tower complex. The dwelling, situated north of the water tower, was created around 1911 and is built in a building style related to Traditionalism.

Description
Single-storey cellarage pand constructed above a rendered plinth in grey brickwork (Flemish bond) with decorative bands in yellow facing bricks. The half-hipped roof is covered with glazed Tuile du Nord and has a gutter on brackets. The wall openings are closed at the top by segment arches and provided with painted setting and closing stones. The windows of the pand are six-pane sash windows with shutters and hard stone sills.
Front facade (south) with centrally placed entrance provided with two door panes under a fanlight with a six-pane window on either side. Centrally above the facade a dormer under a gabled roof with a wooden boarded gable top.
In the left side facade (west) a door under a fanlight.
The right side has two windows. In the rear facade, in addition to a small extension under a flat roof, two windows are placed.
