Omschrijving
Het aan de Langbroekerdijk gelegen TOEGANGSHEK vormt de hoofdentree tot de buitenplaats Sandenburg. De oprijlaan wordt ontsloten door een houten brug over de Langbroeker Wetering. Het inrijhek bestaat uit twee draaibare smeedijzeren delen tussen stenen bepleisterde hekpijlers. De hekpijlers zijn geleed door een tandfries en spaarvelden en hebben een tentdakvormige beëindiging waarop een moderne lantaarn die van ondergeschikt belang is. Evenwijdig aan het hek is aan elke pijler een gekrulde smeedijzeren vleugel aangebracht.
Waardering
Het toegangshek is van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een ontwerp van S.A. van Lunteren. Tevens is het hek van ensemblewaarde binnen het complex en als entree aan de Langbroekerdijk.

Description
The ENTRANCE GATE situated on the Langbroekerdijk forms the main entrance to the country estate Sandenburg. The drive is accessed by a wooden bridge over the Langbroeker Wetering. The entrance gate consists of two rotating wrought-iron sections between stone rendered gate piers. The gate piers are articulated by a tooth frieze and spandrel panels and have a tent roof-shaped termination on which is a modern lantern of secondary importance. Parallel to the gate, a scrolled wrought-iron wing is attached to each pier.
Valuation
The entrance gate is of general importance because of its architectural-historical value as an example of a design by S.A. van Lunteren. The gate is also of ensemble value within the complex and as an entrance on the Langbroekerdijk.
