Omschrijving
TUINMANSWONING, tevens portierswoning, gelegen aan de zuidoostzijde, rechts van de oprijlaan. Het pand is opgetrokken op een kruisvormige plattegrond en telt één bouwlaag onder elkaar snijdende zadeldaken. De voor- en achtergevel zijn voorzien van een beëindiging in de vorm van kantelen. De zijgevels zijn als tuitgevel uitgevoerd. Alle gevels zijn bepleisterd.
De voorgevel (west) telt drie assen en heeft in het midden een risaliet. Hierin is een Tudorboogvormig portiek gezet waarin een voordeur met segmentboogvormig bovenlicht. Aan weerszijden van het portiek komt een lichtspleet voor. Boven het portiek bevat de gevel vier smalle rondboogvensters, op gezamenlijke vensterdorpel. De zijgevels van het risaliet bevatten eveneens een smal rondboogvenster. Aan weerszijden van het risaliet bevindt zich een Tudorboogvormig schuifvenster. Onder de kantelen komt een geprofileerde lijst voor.
De rechterzijgevel bevat een Tudorboogvormig schuifvenster met zijlichten. Het venster is voorzien van een wenkbrauw. Erboven zijn twee smalle rondboogvensters voorzien van een wenkbrauw.
Tegen de achtergevel is in het midden een risaliet gezet dat boven de gevel uitsteekt en is voorzien van kantelen. Dit geveldeel bevat een Tudorboogvormig schuifvenster en rondboogvenster in de zijgevels.
De linkerzijgevel is blind uitgevoerd.
Waardering
De tuinmanswoning is van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een Tuinmanswoning in Tudor-gotiekstijl en vanwege het ontwerp van S.A. van Lunteren. Tevens is de woning van ensemblewaarde binnen het complex.

GARDENER'S COTTAGE, also porter's lodge, situated on the south-east side, to the right of the drive. The building is constructed on a cross-shaped ground plan and comprises one storey under intersecting gabled roofs. The front and rear facades are provided with a termination in the form of crenellations. The side facades are executed as spout gables. All facades are rendered.
The front facade (west) has three bays and has in the middle a risalit. Within it is set a Tudor-arched portico in which a front door with segmental arch fanlight. On either side of the portico is a light slit. Above the portico the facade contains four narrow round-arched windows on a shared window sill. The side facades of the risalit likewise contain a narrow round-arched window. On either side of the risalit is a Tudor-arched sash window. Below the crenellations is a moulded band.
The right side facade contains a Tudor-arched sash window with sidelights. The window is provided with an eyebrow. Above it are two narrow round-arched windows provided with an eyebrow.
Against the rear facade a risalit is set in the middle which projects above the facade and is provided with crenellations. This facade section contains a Tudor-arched sash window and round-arched window in the side facades.
The left side facade is executed as blank wall.
Valuation
The gardener's cottage is of general importance because of its architectural-historical value as an example of a gardener's cottage in Tudor-Gothic style and because of the design by S.A. van Lunteren. The building is also of ensemble value within the complex.
