Omschrijving
Inleiding
KRUKBOERDERIJ, "De Zijp", gebouwd in 1906 voor de heer Ledeboer (Enschede), in opdracht van de Heidemij. Het pand is gerealiseerd in Ambachtelijk-Traditionele stijl door M. van Thiel, timmerman/aannemer uit Bakel.
De boerderij ligt aan de noord-zuid verbinding (doorgaande weg tussen Venray en Zeeland) in het Peelontginningsgebied.
Omschrijving
Pand op L-vormige plattegrond onder een zadeldak met schild aan de voorzijde van het woongedeelte en wolfseind met windveer aan de achterzijde van het haaks daarop staande bedrijfsgedeelte.
Tegen de achterkant van dit bedrijfsgedeelte is een lager, langgerekt bedrijfsgedeelte onder zadeldak gebouwd.
De boerderij is uitgevoerd in handvorm baksteen. Het dak is gedekt met muldenpannen.
De voorgevel heeft een opgeklampte deur met bovenlicht. Het woongedeelte bevat een aantal T-ramen waarvan de bovenlichten van een roedenverdeling zijn voorzien, onderlichten hebben luiken. In het midden van het dakvlak, boven de voorgevel, bevindt zich een kleine dakkapel.
In de zijgevels van het bedrijfsgedeelte zijn hooggeplaatste kleine ramen en opgeklampte poorten aangebracht. Het langgerekte bedrijfsgedeelte is van getoogde vierruitsramen met ijzeren kozijnen voorzien.
Het interieur is qua indeling en inrichting grotendeels in de oorspronkelijke staat bewaard gebleven.
Waardering
Het gebouw is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde als typologisch voorbeeld van een boerderij binnen de Peelontginning. Het geheel heeft ensemblewaarden vanwege de landschappelijke ontwikkelingen en is van betekenis voor het aanzien van de Peel. Het gebouw is gaaf bewaard gebleven en zeldzaam.

Introduction
CRUK FARMHOUSE, "De Zijp", built in 1906 for Mr. Ledeboer (Enschede), commissioned by the Heidemij. The building was realized in Artisanal-Traditional style by M. van Thiel, carpenter/contractor from Bakel.
The farmhouse is situated on the north-south connection (through road between Venray and Zeeland) in the Peel reclamation area.
Description
Building on an L-shaped plan under a gabled roof with a hip at the front of the residential section and half-hipped end with weather vane at the rear of the perpendicular business section.
Against the back of this business section a lower, elongated business section under a gabled roof has been built.
The farmhouse is executed in handmade brick. The roof is covered with pan tiles.
The front gable has a fastened door with fanlight. The residential section contains a number of T-windows of which the fanlights are fitted with glazing bars, lower lights have shutters. In the middle of the roof surface, above the front gable, is a small roof dormer.
In the side gables of the business section high-placed small windows and fastened gates have been installed. The elongated business section is fitted with arched four-pane windows with iron frames.
The interior has been largely preserved in terms of layout and furnishing in the original state.
Valuation
The building is of general importance because of its cultural-historical value as a typological example of a farmhouse within Peel reclamation. The whole has ensemble values because of landscape developments and is of significance for the appearance of the Peel. The building has been preserved in good condition and is rare.
