Omschrijving
Inleiding.
LANGGEVELBOERDERIJ, voormalige kasteelboerderij, uit de tweede helft van de negentiende eeuw. Het pand ligt aan een zijpad van de Hoef, haaks op de weg in de nabijheid van het kasteel van Gemert. Oorspronkelijke schop en bakhuis zijn gemoderniseerd en vallen buiten de bescherming.
Omschrijving.
Boerderij op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder een zadeldak gedekt met Hollandse pannen. De boerderij is uitgevoerd in handgevormde baksteen en heeft een gepleisterde plint en muizentandlijst.
Het woongedeelte heeft zesruits schuiframen, gedeeltelijk met luiken.
Onder de ramen zijn hardstenen vensterbanken aangebracht. In de topgevel zijn vierruitsramen zichtbaar. De paneeldeur is van gietijzeren roosters voorzien, in het bovenlicht is een levensboom aangebracht.
Het uiteinde van de stal is hoger opgemetseld. In de stal bevinden zich getoogde ramen en een grote getoogde poort met diabolobeschildering. In de achtergevel zijn een aantal poorten zichtbaar, direkt onder de goot zijn luiken aangebracht.
De beschildering van luiken en poorten verwijst naar motieven van de Duitse Orde, voormalig eigenaar van de boerderij.
In het interieur zijn delen van de oorspronkelijke indeling bewaard gebleven, zo is er bijvoorbeeld een keuken met schouw, een kelder met opkamer.
Waardering.
De boerderij is van algemeen belang. Zij heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als specimen van de typologische ontwikkeling van de langgevelboerderij en de samenhang met het reeds eerder beschermde kasteel. Zij is gaaf bewaard gebleven en als kasteelboerderij betrekkelijk zeldzaam.

LANGGEVEL FARMHOUSE, former castle farmhouse, from the second half of the nineteenth century. The building is situated on a side path of the Hoef, at right angles to the road in the vicinity of the castle of Gemert. Original barn and bakehouse have been modernized and fall outside the protection.
Description.
Farmhouse on a rectangular plan under a gabled roof covered with Dutch tiles. The farmhouse is executed in hand-moulded brick and has a plastered plinth and mouse-tooth moulding.
The residential section has six-light sash windows, partly with shutters.
Beneath the windows hardstone windowsills have been installed. In the top gable four-light windows are visible. The panel door is fitted with cast-iron grilles; in the fanlight a tree of life is depicted.
The end of the stable is built up higher. In the stable there are arched windows and a large arched gate with diabolo decoration. In the rear gable a number of doors are visible; directly below the eaves shutters have been installed.
The decoration of shutters and doors refers to motifs of the German Order, former owner of the farmhouse.
In the interior parts of the original layout have been preserved; for example there is a kitchen with chimney-piece, a cellar with upper room.
Valuation.
The farmhouse is of general importance. It has cultural-historical value as a specimen of the typological development of the langgevel farmhouse and the connection with the already previously protected castle. It has been preserved intact and as a castle farmhouse is relatively rare.
