De MARIAKAPEL is in 1938 gebouwd ter ere van het priesterjubileum van J. Simonis. De kapel, gebouwd in de stijl van de Delftse School, bevindt zich iets buiten de bebouwde kom van Milheeze.

De kapel heeft een vierkante plattegrond en is opgetrokken uit imitatie handvorm baksteen met vlechtingen. Op het haaks op de weg staande zadeldak liggen leien in maasdekking. In de zijden en aan de voorkant bevinden zich rondboogtripletten met slanke hardsteen zuilen en aanzetstenen. De muuropeningen zijn afgeschermd door smeedijzeren hekwerk. In de puntgevel aan de voorzijde bevindt zich een blind rondraam en een bekroning in de vorm van een smeedijzeren kruis. Via drie baksteen treden komt men in het inwendige. Op de vloer liggen plavuizen, de muren zijn van baksteen en het plafond is een wit geschilderd en gepleisterd tongewelf. In de achterzijde is een rondboognis met tekstbanderolle en Mariabeeld op baksteen sokkel. De in zandsteen gehouwen tekst luidt: "1898 - Geschenk der parochianen aan Maria, bij het 40 j. priesterjubil. v.h.
pastoor J. Simonis - 1938". Het polychrome Mariabeeld met Kind is aan de achterzijde gemerkt met: "Namaak verboden g.l.v. 4228".
De afkorting g.l.v. staat waarschijnlijk voor de beeldenfabriek van Gerard Linssen te Venlo.

The chapel has a square ground plan and is constructed of imitation handmade brick with bond patterns. On the gabled roof perpendicular to the road lies slate in bond. On the sides and at the front are round-arched triplets with slender sandstone columns and quoins. The wall openings are screened by wrought-iron railings. In the pointed gable at the front is a blind round window and a crown in the form of a wrought-iron cross. Via three brick steps one enters the interior. On the floor are tiles, the walls are of brick and the ceiling is a white painted and plastered barrel vault. In the rear is a round-arched niche with text banner and Maria statue on brick base. The text carved in sandstone reads: "1898 - Gift of the parishioners to Maria, on the 40th anniversary of the priesthood of
pastor J. Simonis - 1938". The polychrome Maria statue with Child is marked on the rear with: "Reproduction forbidden g.l.v. 4228".
The abbreviation g.l.v. presumably stands for the sculpture factory of Gerard Linssen at Venlo.
