Inleiding.
De ONZE LIEVE VROUW KAPEL werd in 1934 gebouwd door het Brabants Studentengilde in Delftse School. Het ontwerp is van de hand van Jos Bedaux. De niskapel bevindt zich op een driehoekig pleintje dat is omzoomd met forse loofbomen.
Omschrijving.
Het rechthoekige kapelletje is een vakwerkbouw met vullingen van machinale baksteen, met diagonaal gemetselde sierbanden ter afwerking. Het zadeldak heeft aan de zijden ingezwenkte lessenaareinden en is gedekt met rode tuile du nordpannen. Dit dak steunt op rustiek donker gebeitste en bewerkte schoren.
Hierin is het jaartal 1934 en de naam O.L. Vrouw van Brabant gesneden. In de nis bevindt zich een wit stenen beeld van Maria met Kind door Marius Evers.
Waardering.
Het kapelletje is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociale en geestelijke ontwikkeling, in het bijzonder de ontwikkeling van de Mariadevotie en de promotie ervan door het Brabants Studentengilde, het is tevens van belang voor de typologische ontwikkeling van het Mariamonument.
