Inleiding
Vrijstaand houten lighuisje op het terrein van sanatorium Hornerheide. Tuberculosepatiënten werden in het kader van de behandeling in dit lighuisje geplaatst om zodoende optimaal van licht en lucht te kunnen profiteren.
Omschrijving
Vrijstaand houten lighuisje op een vierkante plattegrond. Het lighuisje wordt afgedekt met een schilddak met riet en een reeks nokpannen. Het toegepaste bouwmateriaal is hout. Rechthoekige houten vensters en deur. Symmetrische indeling voorgevel. Rechthoekige houten deur met bovenlicht. Deur met glaspaneel. Aan weerszijden van de deur vier vensters met bovenlichten. Onder de dakrand een decoratieve horizontale band zigzag-houtwerk. In de linker- en rechterzijgevel twee twaalfruits venstertjes. In de achtergevel drie twaalfruits venstertjes.

Het houten lighuisje voor tuberculosepatiënten uit omstreeks 1930 vertegenwoordigt algemeen belang want:

Detached wooden rest house on a square floor plan. The rest house is covered with a hipped roof with thatch and a series of ridge tiles. The building material used is wood. Rectangular wooden windows and door. Symmetrical arrangement of front facade. Rectangular wooden door with fanlight. Door with glass panel. On either side of the door four windows with fanlights. Below the eaves a decorative horizontal band of zigzag woodwork. In the left and right side facades two twelve-paned small windows. In the rear facade three twelve-paned small windows.
