Inleiding

He had various farmhouses built. The farmhouse is located in the eastern part of the Zuidplaspolder; this polder west of Gouda was drained in 1834. Over the years, farmers from various regions moved to the new land and different types of farmhouses were realised. The farmhouse is situated on the main route out of Gouda towards Zoetermeer. A private road leads to the gravel-covered farmyard, which is mainly located on the left side (north) of the building.
