Omschrijving
In oorsprong uit 1851 daterende eenlaags schuur bij boerderij Huis de Merwede op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder een rietgedekt zadeldak.
Het voorste gedeelte (zuidwest) is opgetrokken in gele IJsselsteen, het grotere achterse gedeelte in hout met geteerde gepotsdekselde delen. In de voorgevel een grote dubbele schuifdeur en in de geveltop een ijzeren roosvenster. Twee halfronde stalvensters met sierroedenverdeling in de linker zijgevel. In het houten gedeelte rechte staldeuren en in de achtergevel een hooiluik.
Waardering
De midden-19de-eeuwse schuur is wegens cultuurhistorische en architectuurhistorische waarde van algemeen belang vanwege de historische functioneel-ruimtelijke relatie als onderdeel van het boerderijcomplex van Huis de Merwede.
De schuur is redelijk gaaf in hoofdvorm en materiaalgebruik.

Description
Originally dating from 1851, single-storey barn at farm Huis de Merwede on a rectangular ground plan under a thatched gabled roof.
The front section (southwest) is constructed in yellow IJsselsteen, the larger rear section in wood with tarred tiled cladding sections. In the front gable a large double sliding door and in the gable end an iron grid window. Two semicircular stable windows with decorative glazing bars in the left side gable. In the wooden section straight stable doors and in the rear gable a hay door.
Valuation
The mid-19th-century barn is of general interest due to cultural-historical and architectural-historical value due to the historical functional-spatial relationship as part of the farm complex of Huis de Merwede.
The barn is reasonably well-preserved in its main form and use of materials.
