BEELD van het H.Hart van Jezus uit 1927 door beeldhouwer A.de Beule uit Gent. Het beeld bevindt zich op de hoek van de Grotestraat en de Maasstraat in Cuijk.
Omschrijving
Het beeld dat Christus Koning voorstelt is van gegoten brons. Het staat op een achthoekige sokkel van gefrijnd hardsteen, omheind door een achtkantig siersmeedijzeren hekwerk. Het beeld is volgens opschrift door de parochianen op 4 juni 1927 aangeboden aan de pastoor A.J.H. Sengers bij zijn 40-jarig priesterfeest. Tevens bevinden zich op de sokkel de volgende teksten: "H.Hart van Jezus laat toekomen Uw rijk" en" H.Hart van Jezus zegen onze parochie". Direct achter het beeld staat een lindeboom met een omtrek van ca. 200 cm.
Waardering
Het H.Hartmonument met hek is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociale en geestelijke ontwikkeling, in het bijzonder de ontwikkeling van de katholieke devotionele cultuur, het is tevens van belang voor de typologische ontwikkeling van het H. Hartmonument. Het heeft kunsthistorisch belang als voorbeeld van het werk van het atelier De Beule. Het is gaaf bewaard gebleven en typologisch zeldzaam.

STATUE of the Sacred Heart of Jesus from 1927 by sculptor A. de Beule from Ghent. The statue is located on the corner of the Grotestraat and the Maasstraat in Cuijk.
Description
The statue representing Christ the King is of cast bronze. It stands on an octagonal hard stone base, surrounded by an octagonal ornamental wrought-iron railing. According to the inscription, the statue was presented by the parishioners to the priest A.J.H. Sengers on 4 June 1927 on the occasion of his 40 years in the priesthood. The following texts are also on the base: "Sacred Heart of Jesus let Your kingdom come" and "Sacred Heart of Jesus bless our parish". Directly behind the statue stands a linden tree with a circumference of approximately 200 cm.
Valuation
The Sacred Heart monument with railing is of general importance. It has cultural-historical value as a particular expression of social and spiritual development, in particular the development of Catholic devotional culture, it is also of significance for the typological development of the Sacred Heart monument. It has art-historical significance as an example of the work of the De Beule studio. It has been well preserved and is typologically rare.
