Inleiding
PASTORIE gelegen ten zuiden van de kerk O.L.V. Geboorte en hiermee via een laag tussenlid verbonden. De pastorie is gebouwd in 1884 naar ontwerp van E.J. Margry met kenmerken van de neorenaissance. De pastorie ligt terug ten opzichte van de rooilijn.
De aanbouw tegen de eerste bouwlaag van de zuidgevel is van ondergeschikt belang.
Omschrijving
Op L-vormig grondplan gebouwde pastorie bestaande uit twee bouwlagen onder een samengesteld zadeldak belegd met leien in Maasdekking. Het muurwerk is opgetrokken in rode baksteen gemetseld in kruisverband en wordt horizontaal geleed door cordon-, bloktand-, muizentandlijsten. De voorgevel bezit bovendien witgepleisterde speklagen. De geveltoppen zijn uitgevoerd met schouderstukken en topdecoraties. Boven de vensters bevinden zich ontlastingsbogen met metselmozaïek in de boogtrommels. De deuren worden afgesloten met getoogde bovenlichten.
De asymmetrisch ingedeelde voorgevel (W) telt vijf vensterassen, waarvan de twee rechter assen (Z) zich in een risaliet met tuitgevel bevinden. De middenas bevat de ingang. De overige assen bevatten T-vensters met gedeeld bovenlicht. De eerste bouwlaag van het risaliet heeft T-ramen in een driedelig kozijn. De geveltop heeft een drielicht onder een klein rond venster. In het voorschild bevindt zich een kleine gedecoreerde dakkapel die de tweede as van links benadrukt.
De rechter zijgevel (Z) is merendeels blind, de verdieping heeft een T-venster met gedeeld bovenraam en rechts daarvan een klein tuimelraam.
De achtergevel (O) is in opzet vergelijkbaar met de voorgevel. Er is echter sprake van een niet-risalerende topgevel en een afwijkende vensterindeling. De rechter gevelhelft heeft in beide bouwlagen een gekoppeld venster met T-ramen en gedeeld bovenraam, het zuidelijke geveldeel heeft in beide bouwlagen twee vensters met in de eerste bouwlaag T-ramen met gedeeld bovenlicht en op de verdieping zesruits schuifvensters. De geveltop heeft een schuifvenster met keperboogvormig, tweedelig bovenraam.
De linkerzijgevel is merendeels blind.
Waardering
De pastorie is van algemeen belang uit architectuur- en cultuurhistorisch oogpunt als gaaf bewaard gebleven voorbeeld van een laat 19de-eeuwse pastorie en als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het kerkcomplex O.L.V. Geboorte.

Description
Rectory built on an L-shaped ground plan consisting of two storeys under a composite gabled roof covered with slates in Maas bond. The masonry is constructed in red brick laid in English bond and is divided horizontally by cordon, block tooth and mouse tooth bands. The front facade additionally has whitewashed bond courses. The gable tops are executed with shoulder pieces and top decorations. Above the windows are relieving arches with brick mosaic in the arch soffits. The doors are closed with arched fanlights.
The asymmetrically arranged front facade (W) has five window bays, of which the two right bays (S) are located in a risalit with spout gable. The centre bay contains the entrance. The remaining bays contain T-windows with divided fanlight. The first storey of the risalit has T-windows in a three-part frame. The gable top has three lights below a small round window. In the roof field there is a small decorated dormer that emphasizes the second bay from the left.
The right side facade (S) is mostly blind, the upper floor has a T-window with divided top light and to the right of it a small hopper window.
The rear facade (E) is similar in design to the front facade. However, there is a non-projecting top gable and a different window arrangement. The right half of the facade has in both storeys a coupled window with T-windows and divided fanlight, the southern part of the facade has in both storeys two windows with on the first storey T-windows with divided fanlight and on the upper floor six-pane sash windows. The gable top has a sash window with herringbone-arched, two-part fanlight.
The left side facade is mostly blind.
Valuation
The rectory is of general importance from an architectural and cultural-historical perspective as a well-preserved example of a late 19th-century rectory and as a historically-functional component of the church complex O.L.V. Geboorte.
