Inleiding.
WOONHUIS, gebouwd in 1868 in een Eclectische stijl. Achter het huis bevindt zich een éénlaagse samengestelde schuur die wijzigingen heeft ondergaan en buiten de van rijkswege geldende bescherming valt.
Omschrijving.
Eénlaags woonhuis, uitgevoerd in handgevormde baksteen, op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder zadeldak waarvan de nok evenwijdig aan de straat loopt. Het dak is gedekt met Oudhollandse pannen.
De voorgevel is gelaagd gepleisterd en telt vijf traveeën. De deur bevindt zich in het midden, deze travee wordt bekroond door een topgevel met een halfronde afwerking en een kielboog. De afsluitende lijst van de gevel heeft in het midden en op de hoeken lisenen met bakstenen velden. Aan weerszijden van de deur bevinden zich getoogde schuiframen met een kleine roedenverdeling. De ramen zijn voorzien van een geprofileerde omlijsting met kuif, onder de ramen zijn decoratieve vlakken aangebracht, onder het raam in de topgevel met opschrift "1868". Boven in de gevel zijn twee kleine ronde ramen geplaatst. Het raam in de topgevel voor heeft een bovenlicht met waaiervormige roedenverdeling.
De zijgevels hebben topgevels, afgewerkt met een gecementeerde rand en een schoorsteen, eveneens met gecementeerde lijsten. In de rechterzijgevel is vooraan een half venster, aan de achterzijde een getoogd achtruitsschuifraam. In de top twee zesruitsschuiframen en een klein rond licht.
Achteraan staat een éénlaags blokvormige aanbouw onder platdak.
In het interieur is de indeling in oorspronkelijke vorm bewaard gebleven. Een centrale gang heeft een nieuw aangebrachte gemarmerde lambrisering en marmeren vloertegels.
De kamers rechts voor en links midden hebben een polychroom stucplafond. De ramen zijn aan de binnenzijde voorzien van luiken. Links is een kamer-en-suite met schuifdeuren, boven de schouw een omlijste spiegel. De keukenvloer heeft cementtegels met sterpatroon, in de bijkeuken een pomp en kleine hardstenen geut. Het pand is gedeeltelijk onderkelderd, de kelder heeft een tongewelf en plavuizen op de vloer.
Waardering.
Het huis is van algemeen belang. Het huis is van cultuurhistorisch belang als uitdrukking van de sociaal-economische en typologische ontwikkeling van het dorpswoonhuis. Het heeft architectuurhistorische waarde wegens de toegepaste stijlelementen en de ornamentiek en is gaaf bewaard gebleven.

Single-storey dwelling house, executed in hand-moulded brick, on a rectangular floor plan under a gabled roof with the ridge running parallel to the street. The roof is covered with Old Dutch tiles.
The front facade is layered with plaster and comprises five bays. The door is located in the centre; this bay is crowned by a stepped gable with a semi-circular finish and a pointed arch. The cornice of the facade has pilasters with brick fields in the centre and at the corners. On either side of the door are arched sash windows with small glazing bars. The windows are furnished with a moulded frame with hood, beneath the windows decorative panels are applied, beneath the window in the stepped gable with the inscription "1868". Above in the facade two small round windows are placed. The window in the front stepped gable has a fanlight with fan-shaped glazing bars.
The side facades have stepped gables, finished with a cemented edge and a chimney, likewise with cemented cornices. In the right side facade at the front is a half window, at the rear an arched back-light sash window. At the top two six-paned sash windows and a small round light.
At the rear stands a single-storey blocky extension under a flat roof.
In the interior the layout has been preserved in its original form. A central corridor has newly applied marble wainscoting and marble floor tiles.
The rooms to the right front and left centre have a polychrome stucco ceiling. The windows are furnished on the inside with shutters. On the left is a suite of rooms with sliding doors, above the fireplace an arched mirror. The kitchen floor has cement tiles with star pattern, in the scullery a pump and small stone channel. The building is partially cellared; the cellar has a barrel vault and tiles on the floor.
Valuation.
The house is of general importance. The house is of cultural-historical importance as an expression of the social-economic and typological development of the village dwelling house. It has architectural-historical value due to the applied style elements and ornamentation and has been preserved in good condition.
