Inleiding.
Voormalige GEVANGENIS, nu als telecommunicatiegebouw in gebruik bij Defensie. Het geheel omheinde gebouw is centraal op het terrein gelegen, iets ten zuiden van nummer 25. Het pand is gebouwd in 1941-1942 als een imitatie van de Duits Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant.
Omschrijving.
Het gebouw bestaat uit twee gedeelten; een vrijwel vierkante hoofdmassa en een rechthoekige, smalle langwerpige aanbouw aan de westzijde. Opvallend is dat het pand niet in schoon metselwerk met een betonnen kern is opgetrokken maar dat de wanden van hout, rustend op een stenen plint zijn. De hoofdmassa heeft een tentdak met bovenop een gemetselde schoorsteen, de aanbouw een zadeldak met schild; beide zijn gedekt met verbeterde Hollandse pannen. De hoofdingang, die zich aan de noordoostzijde van de hoofdmassa bevindt heeft een houten omlijsting en een stalen deur. De vensters van de hoofdmassa zijn met luiken afsluitbaar; die van de aanbouw zijn klein en getralied. Intern is het geheel na de oorlog sterk gewijzigd ten behoeve van de nieuwe functie.

The windows of the main body can be closed with shutters; those of the extension are small and barred. Internally the entire building has been heavily modified after the war for the new function.
