Vrijstaand RUSTALTAAR met centrale plattegrond vermoedelijk gerealiseerd ten tijde van de aanleg in het tweede decennium van de twintigste eeuw als onderdeel van het bedevaartscomplex 'Onze Lieve Vrouwe ter Nood'. In het materiaalgebruik met onder meer boomstammen en riet, is aansluiting gezocht bij de natuurlijke omgeving. Het rustaltaar is opvallend gesitueerd naast de vijver en in de zicht-as vanaf de noodkerk. De witmarmeren altaartafel is van recente datum (XXd). Het rustaltaar bestaat uit een rond podium waarop in een ruime cirkel zes boomstammen staan die een rietgedekt kegeldak dragen dat bekroond wordt door een vergulde wereldbol met kruis. De geteerde boomstammen zijn bovenaan ter weerszijden voorzien van (deels verdwenen) zijtakken. Het podium is gemetseld van rode machinale baksteen waalformaat in koppenverband met platvolle voeg. Tegen de westzijde ervan is in dezelfde baksteen een brede trap gemetseld waarvan de drie treden de ronde vorm van het podium volgen. Het podium heeft een vloer van witte en lichtgele tegels in schaakbordpatroon omgeven door twee randen rode tegels en een dubbele rollaag van rode waalsteen waartussen een gleuf gevuld met grond bestemd voor bloemen of planten. Op de binnenste rollaag staan zes gemetselde poeren van rode waalsteen waaraan de zes boomstammen met twee ijzeren banden bevestigd zijn. De sporen onder het dak rusten op een door de boomstammen gedragen houten ring.
Waardering
Vrijstaand rustaltaar gesitueerd in de aanleg in Engelse landschapsstijl is van algemeen belang als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het bedevaartscomplex 'Onze Lieve Vrouwe ter Nood'.

Freestanding REST ALTAR with central floor plan presumably realized at the time of the layout in the second decade of the twentieth century as part of the pilgrimage complex 'Onze Lieve Vrouwe ter Nood'. In the use of materials including tree trunks and reed, connection is sought with the natural surroundings. The rest altar is strikingly situated beside the pond and in the sight-line from the provisional church. The white marble altar table is of recent date (20th century). The rest altar consists of a round platform on which in a wide circle six tree trunks stand which support a reed-covered conical roof crowned by a gilded globe with cross. The tarred tree trunks are at the top provided on either side with (partly lost) side branches. The platform is built of red machine-made brickwork, Dutch bond, in headers with full joint. Against the west side of it is built in the same brickwork a broad staircase of which the three steps follow the round form of the platform. The platform has a floor of white and light yellow tiles in checkerboard pattern surrounded by two bands of red tiles and a double roll course of red brickwork with a groove between filled with soil intended for flowers or plants. On the inner roll course stand six built-up piers of red brickwork to which the six tree trunks are fastened with two iron bands. The spurs under the roof rest on a wooden ring carried by the tree trunks.
