Inleiding:
BOERDERIJ met jachtkamer "'t Goor", uit 1869. De boerderij is gebouwd voor de Geldropse textielfabrikant P.C.M. van den Heuvel, die nauwe banden onderhield met de plaatselijke kasteelheer.
Omschrijving:
De langgevelboerderij bestaat uit één bouwlaag onder zadeldak uitgevoerd in baksteen. Onder de dakrand een gemetselde tandlijst. Het woongedeelte van de boerderij bestaat uit drie traveeën, waarvan de middelste de voordeur is. De ramen zijn voorzien van zesruits-schuifvensters met luiken. De jacht/ontvangstkamer heeft een eigen ingang. In de buitenmuur van het bedrijfsgedeelte bevinden zich in de voorgevel vier grote muuropeningen met korfbogige deuren, de plaats van de gehengen is in de gevel geaccentueerd door een natuurstenen blok. Vanaf het woongedeelte bevinden zich achter deze deuren respectievelijk: de koestal, de varkenshokken met paardestal, de deel en de dorsschuur. Boven de drie stallen bevindt zich de tasruimte voor het hooi. De paardestal met ruif, heeft een voerluik op de deel. De koestal is uitgevoerd als potstal, ze is nog compleet met stalhouten, waar de koeien worden aangebonden. Voor de kop van het bedrijfsgedeelte ligt op het erf de dorsberg. In de dorsschuur staat de dorsmachine. De aandrijving geschiedde door een paard, die lopend rond een spil een boom met tandwiel in beweging bracht. Het interieur van het woongedeelte is met uitzondering van een enkele aanpassing grotendeels ongewijzigd.
Evenwijdig aan de boerderij ligt een stenen schuur onder zadeldak. Zowel dit dak als het dak van de boerderij is belegd met Oudhollandse pannen.
Waardering:
De boerderij met jachtkamer is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw in Noord-Brabant onder invloed van de industrialisatie en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de langgevelboerderij in de tweede helft van de negentiende eeuw. Architectuurhistorisch is het pand van belang vanwege de eenvoudige vormen en de bijzondere samenhang tussen exterieur en interieur. The long-facade farm consists of one storey under a gabled roof executed in brick. Under the eaves a brick toothing course. The residential part of the farm consists of three bays, the middle one being the front door. The windows are fitted with six-light sash windows with shutters. The hunting/reception room has its own entrance. In the outer wall of the business part there are four large wall openings with basket arch doors in the front facade, the position of the hinges is emphasised in the facade by a natural stone block. From the residential part, behind these doors respectively: the cattle shed, the pig sties with horse stable, the threshing floor and the threshing barn. Above the three stalls is the hay storage space. The horse stable with manger has a feed hatch opening to the threshing floor. The cattle shed is constructed as a stake barn, it is still complete with stable timbers where the cattle are tied. In front of the business part on the farmyard is the threshing stone. In the threshing barn stands the threshing machine. The drive was operated by a horse, which walking around a spindle set a beam with a gearwheel in motion. The interior of the residential part is largely unchanged except for a few adaptations.
Parallel to the farm is a stone barn under a gabled roof. Both this roof and the roof of the farm are covered with Old Dutch tiles.
