Omschrijving onderdeel 2: PARKAANLEG, XIXa,b; de parkaanleg bestaat uit een zeer kleine Engelse aanleg, die zich ten oosten en zuidoosten van het huis uitstrekt; het meest oostelijke stuk bestaat uit een bosje met oud loofhout, met name beuk en eik; er is een slingervijver, tevens restant van de omgrachting van het verdwenen huis Splijtenburg, en (restanten van) gebogen wandelpaden; over de versmalling van de vijverpartij lag ooit een brug; het westelijke deel, dichter bij het huis, is opener van structuur met een licht geaccidenteerd grasveld met fraaie oude beuken, in twee gebogen rijen geplant; een rode beuk en een oude eik als solitairen; direct ten oosten van het huis ook een kleine vijver. Van de moestuin in de zuidwesthoek van het terrein is geen inrichting bewaard gebleven; het is nu een grasveld; het voorplein tussen huis en koetshuis heeft een nieuwe bestrating van granietkeien; oude solitaire kastanje.

Description of component 2: PARK LAYOUT, first and second half of 19th century; the park layout consists of a very small English layout, which extends to the east and southeast of the house; the most eastern part consists of a wood with old deciduous timber, particularly beech and oak; there is a winding pond, also a remnant of the moat of the disappeared house Splijtenburg, and (remains of) curved walking paths; a bridge once lay over the narrowing of the pond area; the western part, closer to the house, is more open in structure with a slightly undulating lawn with fine old beeches, planted in two curved rows; a red beech and an old oak as specimen trees; directly east of the house also a small pond. Of the vegetable garden in the southwestern corner of the grounds no layout has been preserved; it is now a lawn; the forecourt between house and coach house has new paving of granite sets; old specimen chestnut.
