Omschrijving onderdeel 5:
HEKWERK, XIX; aan de Ridderstraat langs het terrein over de gehele lengte tot aan de kruising met de keiweg een eenvoudig laag hekwerk van dunne ronde ijzeren spijlen, om en om iets lager en hoger; ter hoogte van het huis is het hek wat rijker uitgevoerd: de spijlen hebben punten en om de paar meter staan in het hek cilindervormige hardstenen palen; als toegang tot het voorplein twee identieke palen, maar dan iets dikker en hoger en op een vierkante voet.

FENCE, 19th century; along the Ridderstraat bordering the grounds over the entire length to the intersection with the country road a simple low fence of thin round iron railings, alternating slightly lower and higher; at the height of the house the fence is executed somewhat more richly: the railings have points and every few metres in the fence stand cylinder-shaped ashlar posts; as access to the forecourt two identical posts, but then somewhat thicker and higher and on a square base.
