Omschrijving
KOETSHUIS behorende tot de buitenplaats Klein Drakenstein. Aan de rechterzijde van het voorplein, met de eindgevel grenzend aan de Kloosterlaan, ligt een voormalig koetshuis, thans stalgebouw. Het heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en bestaat uit één bouwlaag en een vliering onder een met blauwe pannen gedekt zadeldak. Het gebouw heeft aan de zuidzijde een zijbeuk van geringere hoogte, waarover het dakschild in een flauwere helling doorloopt. Het deel aan de straatzijde is opgetrokken uit rode baksteen, de eindgevel is voorzien van vlechtingen en een luik. Het deel daarachter is van hout en aan de voorpleinzijde voorzien van twee dubbele inrijdeuren. Halverwege de twintigste eeuw is de houten kapconstructie geheel vernieuwd en kwam het koetshuis in gebruik als stal, mogelijk dateert de houten afwerking van de buitenzijde eveneens uit deze tijd.

Description
CARRIAGE HOUSE belonging to the country estate Klein Drakenstein. On the right side of the forecourt, with the gable end bordering the Kloosterlaan, lies a former carriage house, now a stable building. It has a rectangular ground plan and consists of one storey and a loft under a gabled roof covered with blue tiles. The building has on the south side a side aisle of lesser height, over which the roof slope continues at a shallower angle. The part on the street side is constructed of red brick, the gable end is provided with wattling and a shutter. The part behind it is of timber and on the forecourt side provided with two double carriage doors. Halfway through the twentieth century the timber roof truss structure was completely renewed and the carriage house came into use as a stable, the timber finish of the exterior possibly also dates from this time.
