Inleiding
De kleine, tweede schuur bij hoeve Grote Muizenberg, stammend uit de achttiende of vroege negentiende eeuw en ten westen van de boerderij gesitueerd.
Omschrijving
Exterieur Schuur op rechthoekige grondslag, opgetrokken in diverse baksteensoorten en voorzien van een zadeldak met gesmoorde mulden pannen en aan één zijde een wolfeind. Gesmede ankers. Diverse gevelopeningen (deels authentiek), onder andere mestluiken
Interieur Het interieur heeft een driebeukige opzet. Het gebint heeft aan de ene zijde een dekbalk-, aan de andere zijde een ankerbalkconstructie. De constructie is hoofdzakelijk van eikenhout en voorzien van gehakte telmerken, deels van grenenhout.
Waardering
De tweede, kleine schuur bij de hoeve Grote Muizenberg, waarschijnlijk gebouwd achttiende of begin negentiende eeuw, is van algemeen belang vanwege: - cultuurhistorie, vanwege het type driebeukige schuur, verwant aan het Vlaamse schuurtype; - architectuur- en bouwhistorie, onder andere vanwege de hoofdzakelijk eikenhouten constructie; - ensemblewaarden, vanwege de visuele en functionele samenhang met de rest van het erf; - gaafheid van vooral de inwendige structuur en constructie.

The small, second barn at the Grote Muizenberg farmstead, dating from the eighteenth or early nineteenth century and situated to the west of the farmhouse.
Description
Exterior Barn on rectangular ground plan, constructed in various types of brickwork and provided with a gabled roof with hipped valleys and a half-hipped roof on one side. Wrought-iron wall anchors. Various wall openings (partly authentic), including dung flaps.
Interior The interior has a three-aisle layout. The timber frame has a tie-beam construction on one side and an anchor-beam construction on the other side. The structure is principally of oak wood and provided with carpenters' marks, partly of pine wood.
Valuation
The second, small barn at the Grote Muizenberg farmstead, probably built eighteenth or early nineteenth century, is of general importance because of: - cultural history, because of the type of three-aisle barn, related to the Flemish barn type; - architectural and building history, among other things because of the principally oak timber construction; - ensemble values, because of the visual and functional coherence with the rest of the farmyard; - integrity, especially of the internal structure and construction.
