Inleiding
Ten oosten van het hoofdgebouw staat, haaks op het keukengebouw met poort, een tweede, eveneens langgerekt DIENSTGEBOUW, behorende tot het oorspronkelijke bouwplan van A. Slootmaekers uit 1862-'65. De zuidelijke gevel sluit aan op het keukenpoortgebouw. Tegenwoordig is in dit gebouw de linnenkamer ondergebracht.
Omschrijving
Het gebouw heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond, één bouwlaag en wordt gedekt door een zadeldak met verbeterde Hollandse pannen. De gevels zijn opgemetseld in handvorm baksteen en hebben een gepleisterde plint. De symmetrische voorgevel telt zeven vensterassen en wordt geleed door lisenen. Centraal bevindt zich een gemoderniseerde deur in de oorspronkelijke omlijsting met driepas-spitsboognis, spitsboogvenster met vorktracering en topgevel. De deur wordt geflankeerd door gedrukte spitsboognissen met driepastracering, deels met kalkstenen toten.
Het linkerdeel van de gevel is nog oorspronkelijk ingedeeld.
Centraal in de drie vensterassen links van de centrale ingangspartij is een opgeklampte deur met spitsbogig bovenlicht. Deze wordt geflankeerd door spitsbogige vensters, beide met een vorktracering. De noordelijke eindgevel heeft een kelderlicht met bovenliggend opkamervenster, en een twaalfruits schuifvenster. De achtergevel is gedeeltelijk opnieuw ingedeeld en, op enkele kleine lichten na, blind.

To the east of the main building stands, at right angles to the kitchen building with gateway, a second, likewise elongated SERVICE BUILDING, belonging to the original building plan by A. Slootmaekers from 1862-'65. The southern facade adjoins the kitchen-gateway building. Currently the linen room is housed in this building.
Description
The building has a rectangular ground plan, one storey and is covered by a gabled roof with improved Dutch tiles. The facades are laid up in handmade brick and have a rendered plinth. The symmetrical front facade has seven window axes and is articulated by pilasters. Central is a modernized door in the original surround with trefoil-pointed arch recess, pointed arch window with forked tracery and gable top. The door is flanked by compressed pointed arch recesses with trefoil tracery, partly with limestone imposts.
The left part of the facade is still originally arranged.
Central in the three window axes to the left of the central entrance section is a fixed pointed arch door with pointed arch fanlight. This is flanked by pointed arch windows, both with forked tracery. The northern end facade has a basement light with overlying attic room window, and a twelve-pane sash window. The rear facade is partly rearranged and, except for a few small lights, blind.
Valuation
The object has general importance as a particular expression of an intellectual and typological development. It has particular importance for the history of architecture; is important because of the particular use of materials and ornamentation; and is important because of the architectural integrity of the exterior and interior.
