Omschrijving onderdeel 7: HOUTEN KOETSHUIS.
Achter het koetshuis werd vóór 1876 een houten koetshuis gebouwd naar ontwerp van de Leeuwarder architect J.I. Douma. Het gebouw bestond oorspronkelijk uit een hoog middendeel onder een met pannen gedekt zadeldak met dwars daarop twee lagere armen. Het hoge deel was bestemd voor voertuigen, in de lagere armen was stalruimte en een schuur gerealiseerd. De rechter zijarm is inmiddels gesloopt. Opvallende elementen zijn de ruitvormige en spitsboogvormige vensters en de geschulpte windveren.

Het HOUTEN KOETSHUIS is van belang:

Description
Description component 7: WOODEN CARRIAGE HOUSE.
Behind the carriage house a wooden carriage house was built before 1876 after a design by the Leeuwarden architect J.I. Douma. The building originally consisted of a tall central section under a gabled roof covered with tiles with two lower wings transversely across it. The tall section was intended for vehicles; stable space and a shed were realised in the lower wings. The right side wing has since been demolished. Striking elements are the diamond-shaped and pointed-arch windows and the scalloped wind vanes.
Valuation
The WOODEN CARRIAGE HOUSE is of importance:
