Omschrijving
Het rijtje met vier HOFJESWONINGEN is over één bouwlaag opgetrokken in rode baksteen boven een hardstenen plint, op een rechthoekige plattegrond. Het geheel wordt afgedekt door een zadeldak met rode geglazuurde verbeterde Hollandse pannen, een gootlijst op klampen en twee gemetselde schoorstenen.
Aan de voorkant (oost) vier vlakgedekte dakkapellen met drie negenruits vensters.
De aan elkaar grenzende woningen zijn gespiegeld gebouwd. In de voorgevel heeft iedere woning een kruisvenster en een smalle uitbouw met een paneeldeur met tweedelig bovenlicht in de zijgevel en een negenruits venster in de voorkant. De uitbouwen van nummer 10 en 11 grenzen aan elkaar.
Waterdorpels van geglazuurde baksteen onder de schuiframen, zesruits ramen in het bovenste gedeelte van de kruisvensters, luiken aan weerszijden van het onderste gedeelte van de vensters. IJzeren tandlijstjes op de bovendorpel van de kozijnen, onder rollagen.
Haaks op de voorgevel, tegenover de uitbouwen staan gemetselde banken met houten zittingen, van elkaar gescheiden door muurtjes. De stoep voor de woningen is bekleed met geglazuurde tegels.
Waardering
Het rijtje met drie hofjeswoningen is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde als onderdeel van een representatief vroeg twintigste eeuws hofje.
Het is tevens van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuurhistorische waarde wegens de Nieuw-Historiserende stijl met Oud-Hollandse elementen en als kenmerkend ontwerp in het veelzijdige oeuvre van W.C. Mulder.
Stedebouwkundig gezien is het rijtje hofjeswoningen van belang vanwege de visuele en functionele relatie met de andere onderdelen van het hofje.
Het exterieur van het pand is nog bijzonder gaaf.

Description
The row of four COTTAGE DWELLINGS is constructed over one storey in red brick above a sandstone plinth, on a rectangular plan. The whole is covered by a gabled roof with red glazed improved Dutch tiles, a gutter moulding on cleats and two mortared chimneys.
At the front (east) four flat-roofed roof dormers with three nine-pane windows.
The adjoining dwellings are built as mirror images. In the front facade, each dwelling has a cross window and a narrow extension with a panelled door with two-part fanlight in the side facade and a nine-pane window in the front. The extensions of numbers 10 and 11 adjoin each other.
Glazed brick water drips below the sash windows, six-pane panes in the upper part of the cross windows, shutters on either side of the lower part of the windows. Iron dentil mouldings on the top dorpel of the frames, below roll mouldings.
At right angles to the front facade, opposite the extensions, stand mortared benches with wooden seating, separated from each other by small walls. The pavement in front of the dwellings is covered with glazed tiles.

The row of three cottage dwellings is of general importance due to its cultural-historical value as part of a representative early twentieth-century courtyard housing complex.
It is furthermore of general importance due to its architectural-historical value on account of the Neo-Historicist style with Old Dutch elements and as a characteristic design in the varied oeuvre of W.C. Mulder.
From an urban planning perspective, the row of cottage dwellings is of importance due to the visual and functional relationship with the other components of the courtyard complex.
