Omschrijving
STAL behorende tot de buitenplaats Geerestein. Schuin achter het hoofdgebouw bij het kinderhuisje staat een witgepleisterde stal met grijze plint gebouwd in chaletstijl tussen 1835 en 1850. Het op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken pand bestaat uit één bouwlaag en een mezzanino met topgevelverdieping in vertikale houten delen (gepotdekseld) onder een vlak hellend, met gesmoorde Oud-Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak voorzien van een gezaagde dakrand. De voorgevel is voorzien van een portico van vier houten zuilen met cannelures, waarvan de meest linker is vervangen. Centraal dubbele staldeuren met smal bovenlicht voorzien van een zaagvormige roeden en aan weerszijden daarvan een venster.

Description
STABLE belonging to the country estate Geerestein. Situated diagonally behind the main building near the children's house stands a whitewashed stable with grey plinth built in chalet style between 1835 and 1850. The property constructed on a rectangular basis consists of one storey and a mezzanine with gable storey in vertical wooden parts (filled in) under a shallow sloping, gabled roof covered with dampered Old Dutch tiles provided with a sawn edge. The front facade is provided with a portico of four wooden columns with fluting, of which the far left has been replaced. Centrally double stable doors with narrow fanlight provided with a saw-tooth glazing pattern and on either side thereof a window.
