Omschrijving
Een vrijstaand HEILIG HARTBEELD onderdeel van het kloostercomplex 'St. Bonifacius'. Het natuurstenen beeld is geplaatst op een gepleisterde, vierzijdige sokkel aan de oostzijde van het hoofdobject. Het beeld is geplaatst in een plantsoen met vierkante plattegrond begrensd door een ijzeren hek. De staande Christusfiguur met baard en halflang haar is gekleed in een tunica met pallium. De linkerhand wijst op het Heilig Hart afgebeeld als een brandend hart, het symbool van de goddelijke liefde. De rechterarm maakt een zegenend gebaar.
Waardering
HEILIG HARTBEELD vervaardigd in het begin van de twintigste eeuw geplaatst in de achtertuin van het jezuïetenklooster te 's-Heerenberg.

Description
A free-standing SACRED HEART STATUE, part of the monastery complex 'St. Bonifacius'. The natural stone statue is placed on a rendered, four-sided plinth on the east side of the main building. The statue is positioned in a planted area with square floor plan enclosed by an iron fence. The standing Christ figure with beard and shoulder-length hair is dressed in a tunic with pallium. The left hand points to the Sacred Heart depicted as a burning heart, the symbol of divine love. The right arm makes a blessing gesture.

SACRED HEART STATUE created in the early twentieth century, placed in the courtyard of the Jesuit monastery at 's-Heerenberg.
