Inleiding
In opdracht van A. Roeleveld ontwierp Herman van der Zeijde in 1908 een BOERDERIJ met invloeden van de art nouveaustijl. De boerderij heeft een ten opzichte van het achterhuis iets verhoogd en blokvormig woongedeelte.
Omschrijving
Haaks op de Botsholsedwarsweg gelegen, bepleisterde boerderij bestaande uit een vierkant voorhuis van één bouwlaag onder een omlopend, afgeplat schilddak en een achterhuis onder zadeldak. De dakbedekking bestaat uit rode Tuiles du Nordpannen.
Het voorhuis heeft een symmetrische voor- of noordgevel met centraal een topgevel met driezijdige erker, geflankeerd door schuifvensters met roedebovenlicht. De erker bevat in de schuine zijden dito schuifvensters en middenvoor een tweelichtsvenster. Het dak van de erker doet dienst als balkon en is bereikbaar door een dubbele deur met bovenlicht. De topgevel wordt afgesloten door pinakels in art nouveaustijl waartussen een rij dakpannen is gezet.
Het voorhuis bevat in de linkerzijgevel twee keldervensters met luiken en een venster. Op de grens van het woonhuis en het achterhuis is een boenhok onder zadeldak geplaatst, met een verhoogde gevel aan de zijde van de weg. Deze gevel is voorzien van een rij dakpannen en bevat een deur en een venster.
De rechterzijgevel van het voorhuis bevat een venster, een deur en twee T-vensters, alle met bovenlicht en de beide laatste met roedeverdeling. De zijgevels van de stal zijn uitgevoerd met gietijzeren stalvensters. Tegen de rechterzijgevel is een aanbouw met de melkinrichting gezet die buiten de bescherming valt. De achtergevel is symmetrsich en bevat staldeuren met ter weerszijden een mestdeur en in de top een hooiluik met bovenlicht.
De indeling van de plattegrond is oorspronkelijk. De stal is opgetrokken met houten staanders.

De boerderij is van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een boerderij met vierkant voorhuis en art nouveau-invloeden en vanwege situationele waarde door de ligging in de polder.

A plastered farmhouse perpendicular to the Botsholsedwarsweg, consisting of a square front house of one storey under a continuous, flattened hipped roof and a rear house under a gabled roof. The roof covering consists of red Tuiles du Nord tiles.
The front house has a symmetrical front or north gable with centrally a stepped gable with three-sided bay window, flanked by sash windows with glazed fanlights. The bay window contains on the sloping sides similar sash windows and in the centre a two-light window. The roof of the bay window serves as a balcony and is accessible through a double door with fanlight. The stepped gable is finished with pinnacles in art nouveau style between which a row of roof tiles has been laid.
The front house has in the left side gable two cellar windows with shutters and a window. On the boundary between the dwelling house and the rear house a scullery has been placed under a gabled roof, with a raised gable facing the road. This gable is provided with a row of roof tiles and contains a door and a window.
The right side gable of the front house contains a window, a door and two T-windows, all with fanlights and the latter two with glazing bars. The side gables of the stable are executed with cast-iron stable windows. Against the right side gable an extension with the milking installation has been built which falls outside the protection. The rear gable is symmetrical in layout and contains stable doors with a manure door on either side and at the top a hay loft opening with fanlight.
The ground plan layout is original. The stable is constructed with wooden posts.
Valuation
The farmhouse is of general importance on account of its architectural-historical value as an example of a farmhouse with a square front house and art nouveau influences and on account of its situational value through its location in the polder.
