De bij fort Nigtevecht behorende FORTWACHTERSWONING is opgetrokken op een nagenoeg rechthoekige plattegrond en telt één bouwlaag onder haaks op elkaar staande zadeldaken, gedekt met gesmoorde kruispannen. De in rode baksteen opgetrokken woning heeft een afgeschuinde bakstenen plint en is voorzien van schuifvensters met vaste delen voorzien van roeden. De witgeschilderde daklijst is bewerkt met siermotieven, de goot rust op klossen. Het linker bouwdeel heeft de nok haaks, het rechter bouwdeel evenwijdig aan het fort.
De voorgevel of oostgevel heeft links twee vensters in de eerste bouwlaag en een kepervenster in de top. Rechts is in het iets terugliggende geveldeel een venster met bovenlicht en een deur gezet.
De linkerzijgevel is blind.
De rechterzijgevel heeft in de eerste bouwlaag een schuifvenster en in de top een kepervenster.
Tegen de achtergevel zijn een tweetal aanbouwen onder lessenaardak gezet, die een deur en vensters bevatten. Het rechter geveldeel heeft in de top een kepervenster.

Description
The FORT WARDEN'S DWELLING belonging to Fort Nigtevecht is constructed on a virtually rectangular ground plan and consists of one storey under mutually perpendicular gabled roofs, covered with interlocking pantiles. The dwelling, constructed in red brick, has a chamfered brick plinth and is provided with sash windows with fixed parts furnished with glazing bars. The white-painted cornice is decorated with ornamental motifs, the gutter rests on corbels. The left building section has its ridge perpendicular, the right building section parallel to the fort.
The front or east facade has two windows on the left in the first storey and a herringbone window at the top. On the right, a window with fanlight and a door are positioned in the slightly recessed facade section.
The left side facade is blank.
The right side facade has a sash window in the first storey and a herringbone window at the top.
Against the rear facade, two lean-to structures with sloping roofs have been built, which contain a door and windows. The right facade section has a herringbone window at the top.
