In 1897-1898 in samenhang met de PARKAANLEG met villabouw rond de Emmalaan ingericht wandelpark, genaamd Oudwijkerveldpark, hernoemd in 1898 in "Wilhelminapark", met een niervormige plattegrond, toelopend aan de noord- en zuidzijde. Aan de noordzijde overgaande via Oudwijk in een uit dezelfde tijd daterende parkaanleg met bebouwing van de Emmalaan, aan de zuidzijde aansluitend met een groen ovaal op de bebouwing van de Julianalaan; deze aansluiting dateert van omstreeks 1910. Centraal gelegen speels gevormde vijver, met een lint-achtige uitloper naar het westen, gedeeltelijk doorlopend in zuidwestelijke richting en één naar het oosten, hier aansluitend op een waterloop langs de gehele oostzijde van het park. In de vijver twee eilandjes en een fontein. Aan de noord- en zuidzijde van de centrale vijver weiden, de zuidelijke is de grootste en ovaal van vorm. Aan de oostzijde loopt een rijpad van noord naar zuid, aan de westzijde een wandelpad, voorts zijn er smalle, slingerende wandelpaden door het gehele park. De toegangen tot het park liggen aan de westzijde onder andere tegenover de Burgemeester Reigerstraat, aan de zuidzijde (Julianalaan), aan de oostzijde tegenover de Louise de Colignystraat en middels bruggen over het water ter hoogte van de Prins Hendriklaan en tegenover Koningslaan nr 34, tenslotte aan de noordzijde bij Oudwijk. De beplanting bestaat uit een mengeling van inheemse bomen en exoten, waarbij de bomen onder meer fungeren als begeleiding, zowel langs de randen van het park, met name langs de Koningslaan en langs de zuidwestzijde van het park - straat genaamd Wilhelminapark - als onder meer langs delen van de grote ovale weide aan de zuidzijde. In het gehele park zijn er naast in rijen gesitueerde bomen tevens allerlei clusters van bomen. Tussen de centrale vijver en de grote weide, is een theehuis gesitueerd temidden van bomen.
Waardering
Parkaanleg, van algemeen belang vanwege tuinarchitectuurhistorische waarde, als fraai voorbeeld van Engelse landschapsstijl met grote centrale vijver met eilandjes en fontein, diverse weiden, inheemse bomen en exoten. Van cultuurhistorische waarde als onderdeel van het te beschermen stadsgezicht Wilhelminapark en omgeving. De parkaanleg is als onderdeel van het oeuvre van tuinarchitect H. Copijn en Loran van belang

In 1897-1898 in connection with the PARK DEVELOPMENT with villa construction around the Emmalaan, a walking park was laid out, named Oudwijkerveldpark, renamed in 1898 to "Wilhelminapark", with a kidney-shaped plan, tapering on the north and south sides. Centrally located playfully shaped pond, with a ribbon-like extension to the west, partially continuing in a south-westerly direction and one to the east, here adjoining a watercourse along the entire east side of the park. In the pond two small islands and a fountain. On the north and south sides of the central pond meadows, the southern one being the largest and oval in shape. On the east side runs a riding path from north to south, on the west side a walking path, furthermore there are narrow, winding walking paths throughout the entire park.
