In 1925 gebouwd THEEHUIS, in een op de Engelse landhuisstijl geïnspireerde bouwvorm met elementen van de Amsterdamse School, naar ontwerp van architect G. van der Gaast. Het pand is uitgelegd op een plattegrond van twee in hoofdvorm en ten opzichte van elkaar verschoven rechthoekige bouwmassa's, ter vervanging van de oorspronkelijke melksalon in het Wilhelminapark. Het theehuis is gelegen tegenover de centrale vijver, omsloten door plantsoen.
Het eenlaags gebouw is uitgevoerd in baksteen met ten dele gepotdekselde houten gevels, onder een rieten kap. Deze verspringt in hoogte ter plaatse van het middenbouwdeel dat als torenelement met een samengestelde kap de beide bouwdelen verbindt. Diverse vensters met door roeden ingedeelde draairamen en onder een bovenlicht (veelal ruitvormig, van het type wiebertje).
Interieur naar ontwerp van architect Brouwer met Amsterdamse Schoolkenmerken en diverse Afrikaanse motieven, ondermeer met tegeltableau's en diermotieven.

Theehuis van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een voor een theehuis kenmerkende in landhuisstijl-achtige bouwvorm met detailleringen van de Amsterdamse Schoolstijl. Built in 1925, a TEAHOUSE, in a building form inspired by English country house style with elements of the Amsterdam School, designed by architect G. van der Gaast. The building is arranged on a ground plan of two rectangular building masses that are offset in relation to each other, replacing the original milk parlour in the Wilhelminapark. The teahouse is situated opposite the central pond, surrounded by landscaped grounds.
The single-storey building is executed in brick with partially pot-tiled wooden facades, under a thatched roof. This steps up in height at the location of the central building section which, as a tower element with a composite roof, connects the two building sections.
