Hoge, eenbeukige neogotische kerk als ROUWKAPEL (complexonderdeel 4) uit 1880 naar ontwerp van A. Tepe met transept en vijfzijdig gesloten koor, op de viering een dakruiter met ingesneden spits. Rechts tegen de gevel van het koor een uitgebouwde sacristie. Geheel in baksteen opgetrokken gevels met spitsboogvensters tussen muurpijlers. Kopgevels van zowel schip als transept met groot spitsboogvenster en daarboven in de topgevel klimmende blindnissen, voorts onder meer blindnissen met en zonder bakstenen traceringen. Alle glas-in-lood vensters met bakstenen traceringen. Ingangen gelegen in kopgevels van het transept, beide met rondboogdeuren met siersmeedwerk, aan de linker zijde in een uitgebouwd portaal. In de kap enkele dakkapellen met luiken en naaldspits.
Interieur met kruisribgewelven, glas-in-loodvensters en neogotisch kerkmeubilair, onder meer een altaar en diverse kandelaars en stoelen.
Onder het koor is de grafkelder gelegen. De kelder heeft een kruisribgewelf, een schildering rond en boven de trap naar de begane grond en wordt afgesloten met een houten deur met siersmeedwerk.
Waardering
Rouwkapel van algemeen belang vanwege de architectonische waarde als voorbeeld van neo-gotiek en vanwege de architectuurhistorische waarde als onderdeel van het oeuvre van A. Tepe. Tevens vanwege de cultuurhistorisch waarde als onderdeel van de R.K. begraafplaats St. Barbara.

High, single-aisle neo-gothic church as MORTUARY CHAPEL (complex component 4) from 1880 to the design of A. Tepe with transept and five-sided closed choir, on the crossing a turret with an incised spire. To the right against the choir facade an extended sacristy. Entirely brick-built facades with pointed arch windows between wall buttresses. Gable walls of both nave and transept with large pointed arch window and above it in the stepped gable rising blind niches, furthermore among others blind niches with and without brick tracery. All leaded glass windows with brick tracery. Entrances located in the gable walls of the transept, both with round arch doors with ornamental ironwork, on the left side in an extended porch. In the roof several roof dormers with shutters and needle spires.
Interior with cross-ribbed vaults, leaded glass windows and neo-gothic church furnishings, including an altar and various candlesticks and chairs.
Below the choir is the burial vault. The vault has a cross-ribbed vault, a painting around and above the staircase to the ground floor and is closed with a wooden door with ornamental ironwork.
Valuation
Mortuary chapel of general importance because of architectural value as an example of neo-gothic and because of architectural-historical value as part of the oeuvre of A. Tepe. Also because of cultural-historical value as part of the R.K. cemetery St. Barbara.
